here is my draft
Round Pick Player Position
1. (2) Arian Foster RB
2. (23) Greg Jennings WR
3. (26) Miles Austin WR
4. (47) Jason Witten TE
5. (50) Matt Ryan QB
6. (71) Marshawn Lynch RB
7. (74) Reggie Bush RB
8. (95) Cedric Benson RB
9. (98) Danny Amendola WR
10. (119) Mike Williams WR
11. (122) Bernard Scott RB
12. (143) Jason Snelling RB
13. (146) Mark Sanchez QB
14. (167) Javon Ringer RB
15. (170) Joe McKnight RB
16. (191) Randy Moss WR
17. (194) New York DEF
18. (215) Heath Miller TE
19. (218) Alex Henery K
20. (239) Brian Hartline WR
i'm generally happy with it. i'm a little concerned about my wr's. they are decent, but not thrilling like an andre johnson or roddy white thrilling. i'd say this is by far my weakest position, but it should still be ok.
i feel good about my rb's. a noted bush as my steal of the draft. i think he's going to have a huge season. benson in the 8th round was nice little suprise. he should get a ton of work and if he breaks down, i have scott as well. after that it's handcuffs and a couple of young prospects
i like my te's.
i think Ryan is going to be even better now with a second real outside threat. i debated between him and schaub, but took ryan because of that upside.
Damn 81...your roster is very similar to mine in the keeper league I've been in for 8 years. I've got Foster, Austin, Witten, Amendola, Sanchez, Ringer and until recently Snelling. I still would have crushed you though
And I'll have you know I was at the Hall in Canton yesterday. Kosar jersey $129.99. Manning jersey, $79.99. That should tell you right there who the best QB ever is. I think the Cutler jerseys came free with the purchase of a combo meal at the tailgate snack bar.

I woudl say great minds think alike, but i'm going to guess, you just got lucky. Don't be talking shit about crushing me. You were to scared to play. If we lose any managers in the off season, i'll give you first dibs on it.
I handed Foster to you on a silver platter! I honestly had a tough time not taking him, I just couldn't follow through in the end. If he has a season like last year I'll be kicking myself for sure, so good on you for taking the risk!

I would have taken Ray Rice if would have taken Foster. You're not going to get screwed picking in the top 5. I don't alot of risk in Foster. They say he is looking like he did last year. The only thing i don't like about him, is i was able to draft him in the 7th round last year.
It was a weak crop of prospect RB's this season.
It's too early to really start thinking about next years rookie draft, but thoughts on if it should be a 3 or 5 roudn affair or something else?

Sparky has to be the odds on favorite. He has "The Avalanche". Although with guys like Marshall, Britt, and Vick, his team name should be "4 game Suspension"

I say we go 5 rounds and then set a drop date to unload the extras.
Here's my roster:
1. (1) Chris Johnson RB
2. (24) Tom Brady QB
3. (25) Mike Wallace WR
4. (48) Brandon Lloyd WR
5. (49) Jermichael Finley TE

19. (217) Matt Bryant K
20. (240) Terrell Owens WR
Jordy was a total homer pick, had to do it
i'll call this the reach draft.
reaching for a player not under contract with the frist pick. than Cutler in the 11th. I had him targeted for the 17th round.
Oh come on now! CJ was a bit of a risk with the holdout but in the longterm I think the safest bet. And when you have Brady, does it really matter what kind of backup QB you have? Getting McNabb in the 16th was a steal if you ask me. And if my connection hadn't crapped out my 8th and 9th woulda been better.
WI '98, WI '99 (EV), WI '00, Chgo '00, MO '00, Champaign '03, Chgo '03, WI '03, IN '03, MI '04, Chgo '06:N1 & 2, WI '06, Chgo '07, Chgo '08 (EV:N1), Chgo '09:N1 & 2, Chgo '11 (EV:N1), WI '11:N1 & 2, Philly '12, Wrigley '13, Pitt '13, Buff '13, Detroit '14, MKE '14, Wrigley '16: N1 & N2, Seattle '18 N2, Wrigley '18: N1 & N2, Fenway '18 N1, STL '22, St Paul '23 N2, Chgo '23: N1 & N2, Wrigley '24 N1 & 2
if you want to trade Hester for anouther kicker, let me know.
i agree that you won't be making many changes to your starters during the season
Holy shit. I didn't even realize I did that. Things were a bit crazy at my house last night (and I'm not even talking about the problems with my laptop and my router).
I don't even remember drafting Kaeding. That one must have been autopicked for me or something.
FUCK.

nothing wrong with CJ, although i'm always a little leary of taking a back after he's had sevearl big seasons. bound to crash. but he is still young.
McNabb is ok for a third stringer that will never play. I'd rather have his back up that as thrid guy.
actually, imo of course, you could do a lot worse than steve smith as your thrid wide out. he's on the downside and has a bad qb situation, but he's still a solid player in the 8th round.
and just for the record, i had no internet issues while tethering to the ol EVO. :P

i looked at your team and was like...damn, that's a short bench. 1/4 of your roster tied up in kickers and defense.
still some decent prospects out there you can pick up and you want to risk your kicking depeth.

*I just dropped him and picked up Nate Washington (Ten - WR)
I really don't know what you're so worried about - Rodgers & McCoy are solid picks. McGahee's going to get a lot of red-zone play so that'll work in your favor.

it's a solid starting line up, but not much after that.
i do like the nate washington pickup. he could be a decent bye week player.

it goes both ways. i wanted Blount, Jones (much later than you took him) and Freeman.
look on the bright side, you weren't on crack like hellfire. i have no idea what she was thinking. NONE.
I say we go 5 rounds and then set a drop date to unload the extras.

i'll call this the reach draft.
reaching for a player not under contract with the frist pick. than Cutler in the 11th. I had him targeted for the 17th round.
Aaron Rodgers and then a big bag of crap after that.
Looking forward to the playoffs... Not having to worry about setting my lineup, that is.
that will happen when you draft 3 kickers
if you want to trade Hester for anouther kicker, let me know.

Sparky has to be the odds on favorite. He has "The Avalanche". Although with guys like Marshall, Britt, and Vick, his team name should be "4 game Suspension"
Actually it was in the "Legends of the Game" section, right next to Mr. Jim Brown.
All you need is Rodgers. Hell I'd probably give you all 3 of my QBs for him!
