60s culture blamed for Catholic Church Sex Abuse

I did not say the Catholic Church had no guilt I said it is not special guilt to me
over other organizations and individuals. For me abuse is abuse none should be tolerated.

If some people believe that the Catholic Church is so much more to blame
than any other organization doing the same then that appears to me
to involve a predisposed personal opinion of the church itself.

This I do not have.

What other organisations tried to cover up the abuse of its parishoners?

the catholic church needs to take responsibility for the actions of its people and stop giving excuses. they need to hang those abusers out to dry and it has to admit it handled the entire situation wrongly. id think any organisation found in the same position would be eager to distance itself from such heinous actions

I believe JW has had some trouble in the past decade.
As has the Boy Scouts ... now our Universities .... we could go on Lord knows,
these just come to mind.
I am not here to point out flaws in other religions and other organizations.
Abuse is everywhere, is my point...

Every pedopreist should have been thrown from the organization. The fact that the Church has gone to such great lengths to protect these members is precisely why it deserves special condemnation.
