This whole thing is incredibly annoying. I specifically booked off Tuesday from work so I could snag tickets for the Canadian tour. Now that it's postponed I'm not sure I'll be able to get tickets, as I don't have Internet access at my job. And I'm also working on Friday morning during the public on-sale. So it looks like I'm s--- out of luck. Bravo, Ten Club!

Good reason to have these sales on the WEEKEND!!!!

Just remember. No matter how bad you think your day went and this presale went, some poor web guy had a way worse day than you did.

As a matter of fact, I'd venture to guess everyone at 10c had a much worse day.

Just remember, no matter how bad you think your day went, the midwest is being ravaged by tornadoes again and again. I always say everyone is entitled to their own "stuff", we all have a right to be upset, but when you go to sleep tonight (if you choose to), don't go to sleep angry and put it all in perspective.

That's what I have been thinking too. This was annoying, but not that bad in the long run.

That too.. In the end - yes I want tickets. However it's not a life or death thing. I'm not silly enough to book hotel/airfare or anything else to get them. I'm not willing to take time off work to try to get them.

It seems like most people here forget about other things in the past. I remember getting tickets in 1998 via Ticketmaster - the sales brought TM down. Took 45 minutes for the local TM to issue 3 sets of tickets before it sold out.

Anyone remember the phone fiasco? I couldn't get a dialtone at home for some time.

These things happen. They try to plan for the load, but the load is unending. It will surge to fill any capacity they can bring to the table.

In the end guys it's a band. The favorite band of many here, including myself, but just a band. Sit back and reflect on how silly some of the statements here over the day have been, take a deep breath, and get ready to repeat it all tomorrow.

I can't help but laugh at the people complaining about what the 10C has done. Especially the ones who booked a day off work to buy concert tickets. They're doing the best they can and well sorry they couldn't fix things to suit your specific needs. Times like this I'm glad I start work really early in the morning and finish relatively early in the afternoon which gives me plenty of time to get home and buy my tickets... no need to book a day off work or alter my life :)

Well, as long as it's convenient for you, that's all that matters.

well, come on, really, people are saying ridiculous shit about 10C reimbursing their lost wages and all that shit. it's 10C's fault this fucked up, but it's not their fault that these people were booking unpaid time off to get tickets. that's their own choice.

man I am one of those people that had tix in my cart for hours. I only got as far as Step 2 of 3 and it kept looping back as I continually hit refresh. apparently that was not enough because by the time Tim made his announcement something got worse. I have tried up and until now but never got through after that announcement even tho he said to keep trying. big bummer!

I too had the res/GA tics in my cart, entered the CC number, hit submit, and then. . .virtual limbo!! I hope 10C does right and gives them to us.

I was in step 2 of the EV Chicago sale months ago and got locked out.

Can I get those tickets please? I had not logged into the site today, but should have priority in front of all the whiners on this board. Let me know, thanks.

Hey its not my fault or the 10C's fault you or other people booked time off work to buy tickets.... these things happen. Servers crash etc... look at ticketmaster/live nation... I'm sure its happened to them before. Stuff breaks end of story.. LOL @ people wanting to be reimbursed for lost wages, that's just stupid.

And yes as long as its convenient for me that is all that matters. I get my tickets, I'm a happy camper. I don't lose sleep at night over the fact that other didn't get tickets or whatever.

As people are saying, keep trying. Just got the Alpine Valley travel package just before midnight EST. This is after not being able to get anything but "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" since 8:30 EST.

The tickets I originally had in my cart were actually dumped. I used https://secure.pearljam.com/store/produ ... g?sku=7377
    re-added tickets and checked out.

    Good luck!

I'll echo that. After fighting with my computer all day, it suddenly became very easy.

Hopefully we don't have to go through this again for Canada.

Good luck to everyone, and goodnight.
