I think it's funny how nobody knows where OWN is on their TV. I don't have the slightest idea.

I am willing to bet a box of Twinkies.

At some point in this interview with "Oprah and her Gynormous Buttcheeks".
Lance will bring up a dead relative.
At some point Lance will go for sympathy, and bring up either a dead mother, father, sister, brother, etc.
Anyone want to take that bet? If I lose I will be more than happy to ship you a box of Twinkies.
But I have a feeling it is a safe bet.
I have seen it before with lying, thieving, pieces of garbage.
They instantly use a dead relative for sympathy.
    It is a given.

lol..are they from the last chicago shipment with a dec 11 or later date code..:lol:

I think it will come in tonights airing..thought it was coming last night when he starting talking about growing up and his mom and all the other b.s.

Personally i think lance dominated the whole interview..oprah is sooo bad at getting info out of someone and well past her prime..if she had one. At the same time lance isnt winning anyone over either..

    my comments:

    * oprah is horrible ... apparently that is her style ... i feel like in these kind of interviews - you have to let the man speak and hang himself ... stop interrupting him when he's formulating words in his head ... pretty frustrating on that front

    * lance is still not forthcoming and lying ... some things don't add up ... he said he gave a donation to the UCI after he retired ... that donation was 2002 the year after his alleged tour de suisse cover up ... it's well documented - how can he say he gave it when he retired ...

    * his continual denial that his operation was the most sophisticated and that he had access to the best stuff is him trying to secure a legacy that if it was a level playing field - he would have won ... i used to believe that he may have won a few it it was but not anymore as i see what he got away with ...

    * he says if there's a truth and reconciliation commission - he would be the first person at the door but usada and wada have both asked him to testify under oath which he refuses to do ...

looks like oprah is saving the tear-jerking stuff for part 2 ...

  • I brought up those other people because they all did wrong, and all were eventually forgiven. What did they do that, that lance needs to do, in order for the public to forgive him?

but the difference is the people you mentioned made bad choices in their personal lives, not deceptive to the general public or cheated in their chosen profession (that we know of).

in my eyes, Tiger or Bill Clinton don't need the forgiveness of the general population. no one is in any position to judge these guys on what they do in their marriages. But Lance cheated in his job. I don't think I have ever done that. Nor would I threaten my co workers to keep that position.

And Lance did more than threaten. He caused people to lose their jobs AND careers and future jobs in the business. He had no qualms about seriously hurting people (not physically) that crossed him. He seems to have no compassion, no morals, and absolutely no sense of right and wrong.

apparently the statute of limitations on drug use is 5 years ... which explains why he wouldn't admit to doping in 2009/2010 ... still a fraud ...

Pretty sure that Oprah did indeed have a prime... wasn't she (and maybe still is) the highest money earning female in the world?? I can't stand her, but c'mon.

Anyway, that interview made me think that Lance is an even better creep than before. He said that surviving cancer got him into a win at all costs attitude. Wtf. Most decent people who survive a battle with cancer actually gain some perspective and realize what's really important (from what I gather from those I've known who have survived it). But for him it made him decide that he should knock everyone else down on his way to the top, or so he says. So basically, he blamed his cancer on making him be horrible. I mean seriously, if that's not a sign of what a dickhead he is I don't know what is.

Oprah is a horrible interviewer, she wouldn't let him speak. Several times, it seemed that he was trying to figure out how to answer a question and instead of just letting him say it, she kept interrupting. It seemed like she had her agenda of what he was going to answer and didn't let him wander off that track too much, which is exactly what we wanted to hear. My opinion - I would have loved to see Howard Stern do the interview, seriously - I think he is a great interviewer and would have been able to get more out of him.

That is how megalomaniacs interview people, so it makes sense.

I would pay money to see Howard Stern interview him.
