" ...................I love when people ask what my stickman tattoo means. I tell them if they don't already know, they won't understand!............
I love that! SO true!! + I too am hanging out for my own stickman tattoo. Just can't come up with the place to have it that's right for me.
Full size on your back?
Ah, yeah, nah!! I was thinking about/picturing the crooked hearts & swirls big sized in the middle of my back last night though. Hmmm... SO many options. Which to chose!??!?!

Just one problem with The Kids are Twenty: my three year old kids won't let me get passed scene #15. They just can't get enough of seeing the monkeys and Ed showing up in the background. I'm really anxious to find out what scenes #16 and following contain...
Montreal 98, 00, 03, 05, 11
Toronto 03, 06, 11
Ottawa 05, 11
Quebec 05; Saratoga 00; Boston 04; Toledo 04

Getting back to the book, I love the parts about the cd's! How about a NEW BOOK, just about the songs, with all the lyrics and more about the writing and collaborations that brought the finished product to life!!
That would be sooooo sweet!!!!!
I bought the PJ20 dvd yesterday (just the regular version) and I loved watching the extras on there. The extra footage with the tour of Ed's house was very cool!
Same here! Picked up the regular version here in Perth, and loved the extra's!
I also really enjoyed the Stone Gossard Seattle tour! I have been to many of those places, but it's great that there are some more things to look up if I ever go to Seattle again!
very nice mementos from the anniversary year. i saw the film in a theater that sold beer! i bought the soundtrack earlier that day at fye & got a sweet poster of the inside band pic. the book is a great read. i've read it at least 3 times so far. the dvd i keep watching. i had the deluxe but worked out a good trade for someone that missed out. all in all a great year. can't wait for the next album, though...

I've watched the movie about 8 times since the premiere but today was the first time I've had a chance to watch "The Kids Are Twenty." Man, is that ever a great two hours of live performances. Really enjoyed it.
Looking forward to watching the 3rd DVD tomorrow...
Great job on the deluxe package Pearl Jam! Much appreciated.
I am so enjoying the PJ20 soundtrack. I love Acoustic #1.
That song KILLS. It gets an emotional response out of me without actually saying anything. Ed's a frickin genius.

Agreed.
Its beautiful without lyrics but is just begging for some.
Thought I heard some the other night on it while I was sleeping, accidentally left PJ radio on, kinda passed out from exhaustion. Not sure if it was turned into another song.
I began to watch PJ20 movie. I couldnt get past the part where Ed gets handed the tape of the original demo with his phone number on it.
Well the Ebay scalps are out in force for the PJ Twenty Vinyl, to be expected I guess it's now O/S here just glad mine has just turned up from Amazon.com.
Got the book, got the Blu ray and now I got the vinyl, might make a little for the Ticket fiasco as my friend got us tix seating at the MEN.
I received the Pearl Jam 20 movie for Christmas on Blue Ray disc. The only problem is I don't own a Blue Ray disc player. I didn't realize it was Blue Ray until I had already removed the wrapper. I have since bought a copy on DVD, so I am happy to give the Blue Ray disc to any fellow Ten Club member who would like to have it. (Best Buy, etc. won't take it back without the wrapper.) So, if you want it just shoot me back a reply to this note with your email address and we can make arrangements for me to ship it off to you. I would just ask that you send me a padded envelope with the appropriate postage. Once I get that I will send the disc immediately.
Best,
Gill

I just watched the PJ20 Soundtrack in blue ray last night!
The documentary PJ20 is simply an awesome movie that will entertain both Pearl Jam and non-Pearl Jam fans alike. The movie was directed by Cameron Crowe and features all the band members; Eddie Vedder, Stone Gossard, Jeff Ament, Mike McCready and Matt Cameron. Chris Cornell the guitarist for Sound Garden also features prominently in the film as he was there from beginning as a great friend to Mother Love Bone singer Andrew Wood, whom died on March 19, 1990 from drug abuse. The documentary is full of real history as told by the bandmates and even has footage from the 2nd gig they ever played only 6 days after Eddie Vedder arrived in Seattle from San Diego. Over all I found the documentary to be a historically accurate film as told by the band members. And as a Pearl Jam fan I found the movie phenomenal. There were several tidbits of information I learned throughout the film that I never knew about the band. A very insightful and personal look in the band, the history and the life of a band that has defied the critics and last 20 years.
And since I the same age as the guys in the bands I hope there is another 20 years!
After watching the PJ20 DVD last night, it's all I can think about. I cried, laughed and just felt emotionally drained. This movie typifies for me why I love PJ. Crown of Thorns is getting a work out on my ipod today!!!
listened/watched today for time # 6. Feeling grateful to Cameron Crowe for being in the right place at the right time... An amazing film. Thanks, man... xoxo
