VERY disappointed. I have to assume that the final line-up is incomplete, but this is not worth a trip or my money. I love the band, LOVE them. I own Mike McCready's Devo jacket. I am very disappointed.

Why do tickets for 2 days cost more than 4 days for BONNAROO?

    Such a let-down.

    Very disappointed.

It's going to cost more cause it's a 2 day festival that they are headlining for both nights and you will probably hear 70 PJ songs! That is so worth the cost of those tickets :P

Because Pearl Jam isn't at Bonnaroo? I think the prices are very fair, and sharing the reserved with lawn is very fair. It will be nice to not have to line up early for best GA lawn seats both nights.

Question- Is Reserved by seniority except Rows 1 and 9 or random?

Not really. I said around $125 per person per day for seats and it's $104

Each ticket for the roo was $210-$250
Each ticket for PJ 20 = $167 (at most)

seating was blocks back then, no lottery.

The people that paid for Hawaii travel packages had really good seats.

My bad, you are right, last time I was at Alpine it was seniority based I believe of some kind since he had great seats. I believe rows 1-2 and 8-9 was when I went to United Center then, maybe.

    Here's my thoughts:

Location: I'm selfishly happy because for once, as I only have to drive 5 hours to get to the show. (I'm sorry for my Southern friends, but the midwest hasn't gotten much love recently either. Since PJ's last "real" tour in 2003, I think the midwest has had only 2-3 more shows than the south and 8 of those are in Chicago). A 5 hour drive is a treat...

Lineup: Queens of the Stone Age, Glen Hansard etc? Wait, Pearl Jam is playing right? Ok its a great lineup. ;)

Cost: $252/334 for a pair of tickets for a PJ show? Considering I spent $150 for a pair in Chicago in 2009, that's really, really reasonable. ($126/person for the anniversary weekend? that's really reasonable).

All in all, I am extremely excited (but also anxious about tickets). I would think most 10c fans that want to go, will be able to go. Not everyone will get reserved seats, but I would think most of us will get tickets (even if they're GA). I'm sure I speak for a lot of people when I say I'll be supremely thrilled to just be there.

It's gonna be an awesome weekend...

For the record, I was on the lawn for Rage Against The Machine at Alpine Valley in 2007 and it was raining, muddy, and I was sick as hell. Not alcohol-related sick, but fucking snotty, sneezy, light-headed feverish sick. There was a douche bag piece of shit behind me in his fucking 10-sizes too big corduroy Jnco pants and ICP t-shirt with a fucking hemp necklace who kept jumping up and down, using my shoulder as balance and blowing his cigarette smoke all over us. I suffered through shitty Queens of the Stone Age. The parking was terrible. The traffic was worse. Beers were overpriced and the clothes I wore got wrecked (from slipping in the mud). Our drive back to the hotel was 90 minutes away and when we got there, not even the McDonald's was still open. We ate a vending machine dinner.

    And you know what?

It was fucking awesome. I have no worries that PJ20 will be worth it, at least for those of us that can keep things in perspective.

So once again, if you don't like it, don't buy tickets. You'll be doing your fellow 10c members a favor. :)

Rememer the Canadian Tour in 05? West Coast to East Coast.. There is more to Canada further east than Montreal but sadly we've gotten the shaft. Wish I could do it but I can't afford to make the trip to see this tour. Next time PJ..

To everyone else, I hope the shows are a blast. See you on future tours.

My first PJ show was Lalapalozza at Alpine Valley back in '92. It'll be nice to return home for this epic show! Per Chicago Tribune: The Strokes, Queens of the Stone Age, Mudhoney, John Doe, Joseph Arthur, Glen Hansard and Liam Finn. If we fail via Fan Club, tix go on sale June 4th to general public.

I've never done a festival before so it's reserved seating in the front and then they're having a GA lawn in the back? Just want to make sure I'm reading this correctly. And for those who have done this before, does the lawn have a good view?

Decided to try our luck with the shuttle from Milwaukee and back each day. Booked a room 3 blocks away from the shuttle pick up/drop off location. I don't want to deal with the headache of driving each day and dealing with traffic.

This is great because September 3rd is my 11th wedding anniversary. And, for our honeymoon 11 years ago, we saw PJ at Alpine Valley (Ice Bowl, anybody?). Needless to say my wife and I are super excited (who isn't, lol).

    C'mon Monday!
