I've been to 14 shows...I stopped 6? years ago when Pearl Jam came to my home town of Ottawa. It was homecoming for me and the first time I didn't have to travel to see PJ...

It also happened to be the most perfect Pearl Jam show of all time. Simply epic. Perfection. I couldn't have asked for more.

I stopped going to shows due to my wife and I starting a family.

What an absolutely beautiful day to know the boys are coming home...again...

THANK YOU PEARL JAM FROM OTTAWA!!!!
    My 22 shows:
    1996 - Toronto
    1998 - Montreal, Toronto
    2000 - Montreal, Toronto
    2003 - Toronto, Montreal
    2004 - Boston I, Boston II
2005 - Kitchener, London, Hamilton, Montreal, Ottawa
    2011 - Toronto I, Toronto II, Ottawa
    2013 - London, Seattle
    2016 - Ottawa, Toronto I, Toronto II

I wonder if it is going to go (hypothetical)

500 tickets for ticket package 1

500 tickets for ticket package 2

50 tickets for travel package a

50 tickets for travel package b

    and so on

    or

    1100 tickets

anything purchased deducts from the total amount of tickets
    This doesn't sound good....
Here's hoping that they negotiated something.....

If there is a 10c lawn section, you have to believe they secured a much larger than usual allotment of tickets.
Would not surprise me if they got a total of 10,000 for each night, maybe more.

But that is just masturbatory speculation. ;)

I really hope they change some things about the the start times of the tix. I really hope they are staggered. This makes no sense! Its too hard to get tix when the sales arent staggered.

It sounds pretty extensive if they are planning on having all these 'perks' set up for 10 club members.

They just posted pricing for tixs, says $334 for reserved package and I think that is for all four tickets for the weekend. I don't think that is a bad price at all!

If you want reserved for both nights, you could get the 10club Reserved/GA package, then also get a pair of reserved from the general sale for the other night.
Thats assuming that they will tell us which night is seated before the general sale?

And, unfortunately, that will not happen. I asked 10C when we would get info on which night we are seated, and this is the response I got:

You will receive this info closer to the show date. We can not give you this info until we are done with the ticket stuffing which will not happen until July or August.

I still think Soundgarden is gonna make it!

I'd agree the support doesn't float my boat but then the support bands aren't why people are going! Hazarding a guess, PJ will be on 8pm I'd say. They will be on stage for along time!

I hope everyone who wants tickets gets them next week. Good luck everyone!

So we can't get reserved seats for both nights?

The first night you sit in the reserve section, and the next you have to sit in the lawn? :?
    That seems pretty dumb!

If I were going, Id do a package. APV resort, one click and all I gotta do is get to East Troy. They even come with a designated driver. The packages eliminate a lot of the headaches associated with that venue.

I agree, might bring the golf clubs and get there early on Friday!!! Here's to hoping I get the tix!

    Here's my thoughts:

Location: I'm selfishly happy because for once, as I only have to drive 5 hours to get to the show. (I'm sorry for my Southern friends, but the midwest hasn't gotten much love recently either. Since PJ's last "real" tour in 2003, I think the midwest has had only 2-3 more shows than the south and 8 of those are in Chicago). A 5 hour drive is a treat...

Lineup: Queens of the Stone Age, Glen Hansard etc? Wait, Pearl Jam is playing right? Ok its a great lineup. ;)

Cost: $252/334 for a pair of tickets for a PJ show? Considering I spent $150 for a pair in Chicago in 2009, that's really, really reasonable. ($126/person for the anniversary weekend? that's really reasonable).

All in all, I am extremely excited (but also anxious about tickets). I would think most 10c fans that want to go, will be able to go. Not everyone will get reserved seats, but I would think most of us will get tickets (even if they're GA). I'm sure I speak for a lot of people when I say I'll be supremely thrilled to just be there.

It's gonna be an awesome weekend...

I believe there is only about 7500 reserved seats and I'm guessing they are doing seating the way they are is that so all the 10c fans can get at least one night in the reserves, than both nights in the lawn. I actually think it's pretty decent of them to do it. Don't get me wrong, rather be in reserves, but I have seen plenty of shows at Alpine in the grass and the fact it's going to be fenced off in the front of a grass section that can hold like 30,000 was pretty cool of PJ to do.

VERY disappointed. I have to assume that the final line-up is incomplete, but this is not worth a trip or my money. I love the band, LOVE them. I own Mike McCready's Devo jacket. I am very disappointed.

    Such a let-down.

    Very disappointed.

Why do tickets for 2 days cost more than 4 days for BONNAROO?

Because I'm willing to bet that we get 2 FULL Pearl Jam shows instead of "festival sets"?

    I hope.

    Please?
