The fact they didn't announce all these dates together is weak

Unless these prices change and Neil comes back from the dead, I'm not touching these tickets, simply not worth it.  These ticket prices are never going to change if people keep buying them then again, nobody is making anyone do anything, to each their own.

I've been to two Bleachers headline shows. Most recent one I paid $80 face to sit in the balcony of a 6k theater. But I guess since he's swearing and upset about it, he's absolved from any responsibility.

Yeah, same. I would pay $200 to see this tour from a decent seat. Will check in on things again around Labor Day.

They repeatedly led fans to believe this was a limited city run. Didn’t just lead us to believe that, it’s what they actually said. The second day after the original announcement, they added 11 dates, but all in the original cities and again mentioned it was a limited city run.

This drove up travel packages and vip sales. Once they sold all their platinum $950 tickets, then they announce 17 more shows. I get concerts are expensive, especially the type of show Rush puts on, but this has a really bad look.

I'm not here to defend the prices of the shows RUSH plans to play. However, touring is NOW where bands make most of their money. There's hardly any money from cds or record sales. It appears most of bands tour just to keep their heads above water.

As far as RUSH and their return to touring has turned soured for me.  The online madness, unknown whether one is being scammed has become a turnoff for sure. That said, I've got my MSG ticket and now aiming for two in Hollywood FL, 30 minutes away and Tampa 5 hours away. Take my daughter to those two as she fine tunes her skills on the drums.

As excited as l am with RUSH'S return to the stage. I'm disgusted with the fleecing of hard working people trying to see a band they truly love.👍🇨🇦✌️

Sorta. But they're just complaints because they're extraordinarily difficult problems to solve in this technological age.

Yeah, I was just responding to the Jack Antonoff video. Rush is approaching this in a very aggressive way to maximize revenue. Whatever goodwill they burn is their own fault. Hell, right now it's pretty clear that even more dates will be added.

Basically, anyone who had to reach (financially, geographically, etc.) for one of the original shows has every right to be pissed

Fact is these bands could make money even if they charged less.  These prices for these legacy bands are outrageous and we need to stop making excuses for them.  Again, nobody is making anybody do anything so if you want to pay these prices, go for it but over time only a certain class of people will be able to go to shows and that's not right imo

I've seen Lerxst1992 make the (very salient) point many times that the way around it for big bands is to make every effort to play to demand - volume of shows, venue size, etc. Some don't want to - which is their right but guess what happens to those ticket prices?

Seeing how we're all venting about something, let's throw TM into the mix.

As my wife pointed out to me just now, if we get tix for Van/Seattle, and we sell our TO tickets, TM is going to be holding onto our money until August 2026? She's more pissed about that then anything else, and I'm right with her on that.

I had a feeling Vancouver and Seattle with going to be added. Dammit. Thinking of dumping my Toronto tix.

Yah, it's not great when all the dates don't get announced.  We're now facing dumping our Toronto tickets too, and no idea how that is going to go.

Makes no sense to travel across the country for a band playing a ferry ride away.  Save that for a tour I want to go to without a Vancouver stop :(

I wouldn’t mind seeing them again, but won’t be bothered if I don’t. So I will wait until day of the shows in NYC to see if prices go down at the last minute.
