could be a good addition for the Bulls....if his knee's can stay healthy. if i'm gus forman, i bring him in for a look...maybe use him as the 6th man, or start him, but play him light minutes during the season to see how he holds up.

I used to love Tracy Mcgrady back in the day when he was healthy. I think I have every rookie card of his. They're probably worth a combine $.10 now. I used to have a T-MAC shirt and shoes. I still remember the lob off the backboard to himself slam in one of the all star games. He was an awesome player. Don't know if he'll ever quite make the comeback like Grant Hill has at his age.

Great index of restricted and unrestricted players for this years free agent market and next years:

Looks like there are plenty of players on my team's (Utah Jazz) roster that are unrestricted. I'd let a couple go and use the space to try and acquire some better pieces. Utah could make some good moves and really shorten their rebuilding process if they are smart with what they've got.

not a very good free agent class...guess that means somebody will over pay for nene.

speaking of odd contracts....

i read OK was talking about giving westbrook a max deal...i thought i read going forward, only one player would be allowed a max deal...and you would think it would be durrant...or mabye because he signed a deal before the lockout....hmm.

True Hoop started May 2005. My old blog began Oct. 2004 but I stopped in 2007 due to time constraints and there was only so many ways I can write Knicks stink for fun. If I had known that things like the True Hoop network were coming down the bend and blogs exploding like they did, I'd have stuck with it.

I think it's all part of the truehoop network. I knew a lot of those guys, but didn't do it long enough to even be considered for it because of work/life getting in the way. The event I went to, gave me the itch to get back into the NBA blogging game.
