There's something about Chris Broussard that annoys me. Is it just me or does anyone feel this way?

not really....they didn't shoot all that great in game 1, just hit a few more 3's and hit their ft's at the line.

I still think the Bulls can win the series. they have the better defense and are more balanced. just need to shoot average vs. last night's brick building

I'm not sure about the actual stats. But I'm sure Rose's FG% was better in game one and the Bulls bench scored better in game one.

This is why I really don't like the NBA Playoffs. It drags on too long. Luckily the Dallas series is every other day.

Bulls shot 341 in game 2 and 615 from the line

    game 1 was 437 and 850

437 is great, but if they shoot any where close to that they win. if they hit their ft's, they are right there at the end.

miami did play better D in game 2, but bulls also missed a bunch of shots that they normally make, including a number of close in shots. Rose was off, but so was everybody.

    Rose was 7-23
    Deng was 5-15
    Boozer was 3-10

miami aslo did a better job of rebounding, which limited second chance points. they also did a much better job of passing the ball.

I expect more close slugfest games like yesterday......unless the bulls get hot from the field

As much as I'd like to see the Bulls win the series I don't think they will win another game.
    Sorry

this series could be awesome even if every game is played in the 80s. the scary thing that i noticed from this game was how good the heat were with their original starting 5 of miller, haslem, bosh, wade, and bron - you could see why Van Gundy suggested they'd win 70 games. the two non-superstars brought a ton of energy to the floor that got "the big 2 1/2" going.

strange as it sounds, I think haslem is the key to the series. if he can play as well as he did last night it neutralizes the supporting bulls cast that won game 1 for them (most notably taj gibson).

boozer is killing the bulls. he would be getting tarred and feathered in philly right now

Miller hasn't done crap except look like a tard out there. I agree on haslem..he was a difference maker last night.

Love that this thread was on page 4...didn't want to bump it, but after the fourth qtr I caught tonight I have 2 observations

1 - the mavs are soft as shit (nothing new). they tried to give OKC the game, but they were too young and dumb to take it. seriously, OKC it might be a good idea to get your best player the ball when you're mounting a comeback. OKC can still win the series though...dirk really wants to choke again.

2 - whoever wins the bulls/heat series is rolling in the finals. that series is so much more physical than the pillow fight that is the WCF. Isn't this always the case? why are the western conf teams always so much less physical than the eastern teams (this doen't mean better...western teams are usually just pau gasol-ish)?

In defense of the NBA, if a hit like that happened in the NHL or NFL (you know the sports where they are supposed to be allowed to hit one another), the mavericks player would have been fined and suspended. Or if it happened in montreal, possibly arrested.

if a hit like that occurred in the nfl, it would have really been a hit.

bitch move by okc. i hate players flopping like that.
