I think the story on ESPN today about LeBron saying how "taxing" it is to play PF in place of Bosh. Sounds like a champion to me."FF, I've heard the droning about the Sawx being the baby dolls. Yeah, I get it, you guys invented baseball and suffered forever. I get it." -JearlPam09250

Larry Bird STILL raking in awards....Ibelieve he's the ONLY player to accomplish ALL of these...A three-time MVP as a player (1984, 85, 86) with the Boston Celtics, the Indiana basketball legend won NBA Coach of the Year honors in 1997-98, his first season on the sidelines, after guiding the Pacers to a 58-24 mark. In three seasons as head coach, Bird led Indiana to a 147-67 record and its only Finals appearance in 2000. Bird is the only person to win all three awards -- MVP, Coach and Executive of the Year. Red Auerbach, Frank Layden and Pat Riley are the only people to earn both Coach of the Year and Executive of the Year honors.
Indiana's Larry Bird named 2011-12 Executive of the Year

And they awarded this guy the MVP?
His stat line was on par, but this is a perfect example of his non-MVP character.

I find it hiiiighly amusing that Wade is offended at the Pacers celebration.
1) It really wasn't all that excessive.
2) Who had a stadium sized party/celebration equivalent to a KISS concert when they did nothing more than signing some free agents? Not winning anything, just assembling a super team..... who has yet to win anything other than a Conference title.
3) Dwyane and LeBron get caught on camera mocking Dirk for being sick. So pleasantly enough, Dirk and his team came out and beat the Heat and took their title. I think the basketball gods are not yet done punishing them for that classless act.
4) I believe I remember Dwyane promising Miami multiple championships in the next 7 years after the assemblance of your super team? Still waiting to see you guys grab #1...
I'm not a religious man, but I am seriously praying with everything I have that the Pacers can get rid of Miami in this series. That would be absolutely beautiful.7/2/06 - Denver, CO
