I don't think that's dirty. Just something else for the shooter to think about and ESPN to hype. If it was a lesser known player it wouldn't have been discussed.
i play basketball a lot and if i had to worry about landing on someone on a jumper - that would not be cool at all.
inside that type of thing is expected - but not on a jumper.
Shane Battier probably defends the jumper as well as anyone - get a hand up and block the view of the shooter but you don't have to get underneath them to do that

kobe out indefinitely...his ankle fell off

Tough way to get hurt, and miss the shot too.

Kinda disappointed he won't pay Friday here in Indy. :( Oh well, chalk up another win to the 2nd best team in the East!

yeah anytime you get underneath a jump shooter that is pretty dirty. Bruce was the master of that dirt

ya ... when you watch the replay ... he deliberately steps underneath where he's gonna land ...

you've got mo williams back ... if jefferson and milsap can continue to play ... i don't see why they wouldn't be ...

at what point is it a better play to stay in the hunt for a lottery pick than to be in the playoff hunt?

I don't think so. they can't win on the road and there schedule is road heavy, I think. they just don't know how to win....

a quick glance at their schedule and it's not too bad ... they play memphis twice and they got a date with okc ... but outside of that ... nearly every game is winnable ... spurs are without parker and if they get them when pop decides to rest duncan ... they are beatable ... play the knicks with a decimated lineup ...

it's not guaranteed but they are definitely in the hunt ...
