i love how lebron falls over....yet when he is going for a shot, you can tackle him and he still gets a shot off :fp:
Exactly
It almost looks like Butler stuck his leg/foot out on that play. It was nice to see Nazr floor his ass.
Butler was trying to get out of the way.
you really have to see the entire sequenc from different angles. nazr fouled lebron....which i can't figure out....lebron than basically chucked nazr to the floor...which is where this footage picks it up
bulls got every call tonight and still couldn't win. game 1 was a bigger fluke than the game 1 of the 2001 finals
I really think lebron will end up having a better career than MJ. He's unbelievable
butler's second foul was a joke.
overall tho, i'd say the refs were solid both ways.
lebron is a beast, no doubt about it. i hate to say it, but he is better now than he was in when he joined miami. and he has been smart and kept his mouth shut. be curious what happens when his contract is up. how old is he now...28 ish? with his size, skill and atheticisisissiism (sp), he can easily play for another 10 years if not a few more. i still don't like the heat, but i can respect his game

Even if Lebron finishes with more MVPs, Rings, and money earned (which would be, by definition, a better career), I'd still have Michael ahead of him for some intangible reasons. Going to see Michael Jordan play (which I had the great opportunity to do 12 times in my life...at the Spectrum, MSG, New Jersey, and once when he was with the Wizards) was like going to a rock concert. Or even something bigger than a rock concert. But truly an "event" that was bigger than just a basketball game. Lebron's amazing but he's still just the best guy on a sports team. Michael was a global icon. I bet overseas in the 90's, he was as well known (if not more so) than President Clinton.
I remember my mother would watch the Bulls with me when I was in high school....just to see Michael Jordan. That always stuck with me. Here's a middle-aged woman who's never given a flying shit about a pro-sporting event, wanting to watch just to see one guy. And I bet there were lots of people like that. So even if Lebron passes the stats and rings (I don't think he'll get six rings), the "impact" of Jordan will always trump him...in my opinion.

i think mvp's at this point is a foregone conclusion.
rings. i can see him winning a bunch more in miami...they are set up like the bulls of the 90's were. they could win a BUNCH. i don't think 6 is out of the question if they keep the team together.
lebron will most likely pass jordan in most stat catagories, mostly because jordan retired a couple of times and played three years of ncaa ball.
you also have the different era thing going on.
jordan tho, was well liked by fans and the media, where is lebron has been vilified. some deserved, some not.
i would put lebron into jordan's catagory today at this point in his career....and i'm a life long bulls fan, and lebron hater going back to his high school days

yeah man. his offensive game has gotten better in all facets...handle, jumper, post game, passing (helps to have decent players unlike his clev tenure). he is unstoppable....and adept at making teammates better.
I just like watching him play. and I think he is one of the few good guys in the nba. I hope he wins 10 titles (esp since I don't have to worry about the sixers contending while he's at his peak)

lebron has definitely improved in the last couple years. very beastly this evening, obviously. great game.
but he is no michael jordan. come on people. the thinned out talent, and rule changes make it so much more easier for lebron to dominate in today's nba than what jordan dealt with on a nightly basis back in the 80's and 90's.
the stats and rings issue-- aren't comparable either since jordan took 2 years off and spent 3 years in college. he's got a 5 year jump on him right off the bat.

Big win for Indiana in Miami, and now they're in great position being on their way home. They need to play each game at a time and stress their defense which has potential to be strong and smothering.
Seeing an upset in this series would be exciting.

agree, just a moronic coaching move.
I just don't see how an NBA coach can think that is the right move at that time. So dumb. :fp: :fp:
he said he worried they were going to run a play for Bosh :fp:
Yep, big mistake. And the analysts after the game defended the call :?
There could have been no 3 second call so why not just have Hibbert under the rim the entire time and force an outside shot?
