About that Bulls game... Corbin got outcoached. When Al was on a run, Thibs made the appropriate adjustments to stop the offense that was going straight through Jefferson.

Corbin failed to make adjustments when the Jazz offense got halted. Frustrating.

I've heard about the SA trade... would be interesting. Jackson would add some more 3PT dept to the the Jazz, and Splitter would be a good big to have in the line up. Jazz mgmt and Corbin need to get together and realize that Hayward, Burks, Favors, and Kanter need more time. Start developing these players, otherwise trade them because it's absurd to not let these guys get better with real playign time. Yeah, you might lose more games in the short term, but long term if you groom them, give them seniority and a reason not to leave UT at the next opportunity, it'll pay off in the long run. Jazz have a huge opportunity to cash in on young talent, but I am becoming increasingly suspicious that the ownership isn't committed to winning anything but instead is committed to churning out a mediocre, barely over .500 team to put asses in the seats and keep a profit margin.

Larry H. Miller was a Jazz man through and through. I don't think his son is the same way.

Trade Paul Millsap. Dude is leaving anyway, and knows he's valuable on the market. Get something in return for him.

 Parker made him look ordinary

Nets are dumb if they get Josh...he wants a max deal and will be gone by seasons end. I'd think about it if it doesnt involve a 1st rd pick

I don't think it's advanced past the initial phone call stage, but a few more losses might breed desperation.

Reality is.....Knicks/Nets have zero chance of winning it ALL.

Miami/Chicago are the only ones I see coming out of the East....No matter who either trade for

Deron Williams isnt elite....Melo is a ball hog who is also a head case. The face of your franchise cant be a loose canon

my boy dc is rough on ownership. I see it more like this....

Utah is not the destination some young studs dream of. White on the ground; white in every level of government.

the "williams problem" has been big.......mo is hurt; marvin is a bust.

    go Jazz. FTL.

Ha, yeah. I need to start watching them play more. I watched a lot of the game Sunday, but it is a pretty historic season, on offense and defense.

Spurs are in on Josh Smith too :o

Wow if that were to happen, and he would play within their system...it could be a wrap imo. As long as they dont give up Kawhi Leonard, that dude has serious upside

    NBA All Star weekend.

I could care less about the actual all star game, the rising stars game or the celebrity game.

But All Star Saturday night is fun to watch. The commentary from Charles Barkley and Kenny Smith make the dunk contest and three point shootout some entertaining TV.

Agreed. The Dunk Contest and 3 PT shootout are what's worth watching this weekend.

Is it wrong that I actually like the NBA all star game? :fp: Can't stand the Pro Bowl but at least the NBA all star weekend is somewhat entertaining. I usually don't start paying attention to the NBA until the all star break because the regular season doesn't matter. Actually, nothing really matters until the playoffs. C'mon march madness!

I actually couldn't believe some of the music at the All-Star weekend. What was with the indie, bearded and plaid wearing folk type band? Introduced by Nick Cannon, D-Wade and someone else... it felt enormously out of place.

    Fall Out Boy too?

The dunk contest wasn't all that exciting to me this year. Slowly, I'm widdling down reasons to watch. Next year all I can think of is the 3PT contest...

  • This season, in games where the Nets are tied or trailing by three points or fewer with less than a minute remaining, Joe Johnson is 9-10 from the field for 20 points and a +/- of 18 in just 13 minutes (10 games). Johnson’s nine made field goals in such situations leads the league (LaMarcus Aldridge is second with six).
