Names in deal still emerging but sources say ORL definitely getting Afflalo, Harrington, Vucevic & one future 1ST from all three other teams Sources tell ESPN trade also calls for Sixers to get Jason Richardson with Bynum, with Iguodala to Denver & Dwight, obviously, to Lakerland

    Shaq
    Gasol
    Bynum
    Howard

Kobe Kobe Kobe...u have the nerve to hint about your greatness being equal to OT greater than 23

    Cartwright
    Wennington
    Longley
    Purdue

Plus taking off those peak yrs..... I know when Kobe gets #6 he will, on his own make more comparisons to 23.... It will be sad

Oh yea Nash too... Bulls biggest deal was Rodman.... And that pales in comparison

And the Lebron wins with Bosh, Wade etc

These dudes and their misguided egos... I wish MJ could lace em up and wipe the floor with these whiners

Does this mean that all the hate and venom that was directed towards Lebron and the Heat will now be directed at Howard and the Lakers?? It does for me! What a fucking baby Howard is....the way he handled this whole situation was a joke. He pretty much held the Magic hostage to the point where they had to make a deal and they didn't end up getting much.

Lebron should send Howard a thank-you Hallmark card.

    Dear Dipshit,

Thank you so very much for taking the stink off of my back. I didn't think it would be possible so soon, but your antics over the last several seasons has caused America to forget how I scorned my hometown and left them at the alter on live TV. I will soon return to America as a gold medal champion and beloved by the people (thanks to collective short-term memories).

    Sincerely,

    Lebron

Definitely a great trade for Philly. They were going to be a middling team w/ Iguodala as their "star" so definitely worth the risk to get Bynum. I still can't believe how little the Magic got in this trade. Afflalo and Harrington are decent players, but they're not huge difference makers. They also got 3 first round picks, but all of those are protected.

Yeah, and it's all because Howard's a douche - wants to get traded, doesn't want to get traded, wants to get traded. He screwed that team.

Yep...he's a complete asshole. Don't forget that he got Van Gundy fired as well. They probably would have kept him around but didnt because they knew Howard didn't like him.

Isn't Bynum from around Philly? I don't know how much Bynum values that sort of thing, but I would think it helps give the Sixers an edge in either extending his contract or signing him if he opts for free agency. Regardless, a really good pickup for Philly.

Exactly. And if they weren't going to have Howard, then they needed Van Gundy. First off, the city of Orlando shouldn't even have an NBA team so I'm glad they'll sit in mediocirty. But fuck LA - at least I can go back to hating them and not fuckin' Miami.

It's simple: both LeBron and Dwight are douche bags.

And now they lost their best player and a damn good coach. Didn't they just hire Jacques Vaughn as their coach???:lol:

It will be fun to have a new team to hate.

As a Nets fan, Im happy this is over with (for the entire season at least). Now Brook Lopez can just focus on his game and not worry about being traded.

The more I think about this, the more fucked this whole trade is. Orlando had better offers on the table over the last few months from Brooklyn and Houston. This just doesn't add up.

They screwed themselves...and Howard is a baby

both parties have their reputations soiled. Orlando cant keep any superstars there. And they have a new arena that will probably be half empty next year.

Howard really is a weirdo..the way he changed his mind, he probably reads at a 3rd grade level if at all. All these dudes who skipped college...it really shows

    This ^

When he said some shit about how he was essentially hoodwinked and lied to about his contract and all this shit just shows how fucking dumb he is - luckily, he was born with freakish attributes that allow him to dunk a basketball without barely jumping for a bazillion dollars a year.

Imagine how many of these freaks would be in the circus if it wasn't for basketball....

BK offerred Brook Lopez, Marshon Brooks, Hump and 3 first rounders! Seemed like the best offer to me.

Yep, doesn't add up. Wasn't it 4 first rounders??? Either way, those 1st rounders were unprotected.....the 3 first round picks they got are protected and will most likely be late round picks.

Yep, not the brightest guy out there. But this is what happens with guys like this....growing up, everyone kisses their ass and treats them like royalty. That's why most of these phenoms like this are entitled douchebags who get everything they want. It's fucked up.
