Jazz should definitely attempt to sign-and-trade CJ. Don't let him just walk away. he didn't do shit for the Jazz in the past two seasons, but he could help another team. I think the scenario of Jason Richardson is more promising though.

how you handling the ray to miami and nash to LA moves.

Whatever. Still love Nash, but I don't think I'll be bringing myself to cheer for the Lakers.

Ray to Miami. He left money on the table for a shot to win a Super Friends ring. Maybe bad blood in Boston? Who knows.

It's going to be an interesting season next year. I have a feeling that Jefferson is on the trade block here in Utah.

Okay, I'm going to regret saying this... but I might pull for the Lakers. Depending on the game, series, scenario, etc.

I've been a Nash supporter for way too long... but his career will be a success even if he doesn't get a title. Either way, they're going to be a fun team to watch.

Rob's gonna hate me for that one...

But hear me on this. If I even do pledge a fraction of my allegiance to the Lakers for one game (solely because of Nash), that allegiance will burn like a motherfucker once Nash is no longer in a Laker jersey.

There's my fraud move for the day.

It seems a little high, but that is what the market dictated and it's not like 7'-2" guys are all over the place. And compared to some of the insane contracts I've seen in the past, this looks like a fair deal. If he keeps improving each year like he has, it should look like a great deal in a year or two.

This Dwight Howard nonsense is apporaching Brett Favre territory. Every time I hear Howard's name, I just think to myself, "I don't give a fuck."

Does it help that I'll be imagining Nash in a Suns jersey and always thinking of him having a special "cameo" in Laker games?

there is no....I repeat NO....justification for ever rooting for the l*kers (or any other LA team, for that matter). :nono:

Not a big deal really, but just checkin my facebook and ESPN posted this thing....

Kobe thinks the current Olympic team could beat the Dream Team. "Like" if you agree, comment you don't.

So far it has 12k "likes" and 6k comments. Are people so desensitized to good basketball that this era stands out? Is it a generational thing, like the majority of facebook is made up of people that never watched Michael Jordan play? There's a few all time great players now, but the way most teams play, as good as the playoffs have been the last few years I just don't think the NBA now compares very favorably to most other eras.

The Dream Team would win. The current USA team has a lot of talent, but the Dream Team had toughness that I don't think the modern day NBA can even hope to get to.

Barkley? Ewing? Malone? The Admiral? Hell, even Larry Bird.

Then you just have multiple players who were rabid competitors. Magic, Bird, Jordan, Stockton...

It would be a good game, but I think the Dream Team would take it.
