I think he's faking it. I think the Clips don't want him there, as part of his 5 year extension.

Davis is going to be a great player, but why not another player? Brook Lopez?

I think the toughness is the determining factor in the match-up. I mean, we can't argue that the current team is void of talent..

There was a poll on ESPN today asking if the current squad went up against the 92 team in a 7 game series, how many games would the current team win?

    I said two.
    7/2/06 - Denver, CO
    6/12/08 - Tampa, FL
    8/23/09 - Chicago, IL
9/28/09 - Salt Lake City, UT (11 years too long!!!)
    9/03/11 - East Troy, WI - PJ20 - Night 1
    9/04/11 - East Troy, WI - PJ20 - Night 2

magic summed it up for me

The 1992 Dream Team had 11 HOFs, 23 champ rings & the greatest player of all time in Jordan. No chance this years team would take us.
Our '92 team had too many winners, were too smart & too competitive to lose to Kobe & the 2012 team

Current team careers not over, not fair to toss out those numbers.

But just looking position by position..Durant and lebron might be the only two current players that would crack that 92 squad.

true the numbers are misleading but 92 is still better...if rose and howard were on this year's team there might be a better argument but kobe, bron, durant ain't jordan, magic, bird

    Truth to that.

No doubt it'd be a great game to watch regardless.

I didn't include bird in my assement. He was old and breaking down by then.

Lebron might be the only player on the current team to start on the 92 team. Always thought it would be fun to see pippen in his prime guard lebron

But every other positio., i'm taking a 92 player

The Nets don't need Brook playing this summer after missing almost all of last season anyway. I'd rather he focus on the year ahead.

Awesome acquisition by Cuban and Co.

I really like them grabbing Collison too. Personally, I think he's an overlooked PG. But we'll find out how much he can stand out now that he's playing in the Western conference.

Pippen vs. Bron would be fun, but so would Bron defending MJ. Old Magic vs. CP3/Derron/Westbrook would be a good matchup. Old Kobe vs. Middle Aged Jordan kind of interesting, Ewing vs. Chandler goes to the '92, and then Melo (an awesome international dude) vs. Drexler/Malone would be close. Oh yeah and then whose going to defend Durantula? I think the new team's defense would be miles better than the old guys, not b/c of talent, but because they have all played together for quite awhile now. Still tough to pick against the old guys.

Humphries back to the Nets. 2 years/24 million. Worth it IMO.
