In fairness, we've heard plenty of negatives on the tories and liberals, now it's the greens turn...

I guess it's true then...politics is a fair game...

Looks great on paper...but the green party leader has already proved to me she is no different, she was going to accept a senate seat if the coalition a couple years back went through. The senate to me is an unelected, hang out for friends of the liberals and conservatives. She could have also come out this week and separated herself from the herd and said " no comment, someone broke the rules in releasing that report all parties no that AG report can only be tabled when parliament is sitting". As far as I know she did not!!!! If you want to different than the rest, then separate yourself from the rest, she did not.

They can also promise the world, it's easy to do when you'll never form the government.

I disagree haffajappa...no vote is ever wasted...at the very least, exercising your right to vote earns you the right to gripe! ;)
Lots of love, light and hugs to you all!

People who don't vote still has a right to gripe, maybe they don't vote because their tired of all the corruption and bullshitters in politics. That is their democratic right not to vote.

    Oh, I always vote.
But voting a smaller party in particular - one which you know won't get in - won't help if you want Harper out.

  • Wow Loving all the discussion here. I'm just sorry I've been AFK for 2 days lol.

I guess Reborn and the other Con supporters are no longer on the board...or at least not very often.

Biggest problem is we have Alberta and half of Ontario that will fall for Con fear mongering and STILL vote for our dictat errr prime minister. Last election there was only one enlightened riding in Alberta that did NOT go Conservative. They actually went NDP which shocked everyone lol. If one of the other parties can get a few more seats in Alberta and Quebec goes all Bloq...maybe just MAYBE we can avoid a Cons majority. **fingers crossed**

I am going out of a limb but I am voting for Harper.
I do not like ignatieff and I like Layton but not the ndp party platforms.
I am sick of elections and hope that whoever wins, gets it with a majority.

You do have a very good point, haffajappa. I think I shall be reconsidering my options, thanks to your post. :D

I apologize if I offended. I didn't mean it as a dispute of their democratic right to vote. I was making a joke, sorry, if it came across argumentative. I hope I am forgiven.

Don't kid yourself, harper wanted this election just as much as anyone else.
For someone who apparently posts his own photos in parliament, it must kill him to not have majority yet.

You're entitled to your opinion...but can you honestly say you are comfortable with voting for a guy who was found in contempt of parliament, may have gotten his G8 funding illegally through parliament, has shown nothing but distain for Canadian people and the political process (who prorogued parliament TWICE to avoid facing opposition questions...remember prisoner torture alligations??).

I Ignatieff or Layton or the greens...that much worse??

I don't understand how his (Harpers) behavior can be ok with so many Canadians. (by voting for him thats what you are saying IMO)
