Yeah, agreed! I mean, I'm not annoyed per se that I got shut out for tickets. As was said above, small intimate venue and a lot of demand. What pisses a lot of us off is that the server cannot handle the demand (for the past 8 years now) resulting in tickets being "removed" from our carts. Yes, removed. I and several others got a message saying tickets were removed from our carts after trying to go through the checkout process. How is this right? This isn't a new problem and yet 10c continues to ignore it.
It's not in the best interest of the ten club to upgrade the server for a site that only breaks down a few hours a year. Especially since the tickets get sold anyway.
If the 10c had the greatest server on earth, it'd sell out in 7 seconds, and of course, people will still complain. From the 10c perspective the system is not broken enough to warrant the added expenditure.Yield!

I've been a member for 15 years and have had ZERO problems with 10c. Sure, it might be nice to receive your holiday single during the holdays, but think about how difficult it is to manage a club with as many members as 10c. Things aren't always going to go smoothly, but the good definitely outweighs the bad. We are lucky to be involved in a fan club that offers so many great perks to its members and really does reward seniority (thanks to 10c I was front row, dead center for Seattle 9/22/09). I can pretty much guarantee it's far easier for us to get tickets through 10c presales than through TicketBastard. As a counterpoint to your frustrating experience, Seattle tix showed up on the screen at 2:03 and after hitting refresh a few times, I was able to purchase my pair and have a confirmation email in my inbox at 2:06.
If the problems you're experiencing are such a deal breaker, save yourself the $20/$40 membership fee and try your luck with the scalpers.
Other than the 10C tickets please tell me what the "great perks" are?2003: San Antonio, Houston, Dallas, Seattle; 2005: Monterrey; 2006: Chicago 1 & 2, Grand Rapids, Cleveland, Detroit; 2008: West Palm Beach, Tampa; 2009: Austin, LA 3 & 4, San Diego; 2010: Kansas City, St. Louis, Columbus, Indianapolis; 2011: PJ20 1 & 2; 2012: Missoula; 2013: Dallas, Oklahoma City, Seattle; 2014: Tulsa; 2016: Columbia, New York City 1 & 2; 2018: London, Seattle 1 & 2; 2021: Ohana; 2022: Oklahoma City0 -

2,000+ people trying for 110 pairs and a e-commerce site built to sell socks. That's why the system craps out.0 -
WOW...there are a bunch of people who just don't get it....
what has the 10c done for me this year?
Not sent my holiday single...
Took a month to get some stickers (why sell them if you don't have them?)
Not gotten me the super delux box o crap by the release date...
Not allowed me to purchase tix that i had already entered my credit card information for...four times...
Ahh..but they have increased the 10c membership fee..to double the amount...
And for all of you holier-than-thoufullofshitasskissinmotherfuckers...
NO BUSINESS survives this way....instead of a 20 year celebration the 10c and band via default (or is nothing the 10c does their responsibility?) are creating a climate of hate around here that will probably lead to several others leaving the 10c as well..and while in the short run some of the morons will say 'good riddance'..but in the long run...maybe this is leading to The End of pearl jam...
i'll change it up...i would certainly be embarrased if anything with my name attached to it was run in this amateurish fashion..."To be the man, you gotta beat the man! WOOOOOOOOO!!"0 -

You're right. In this case though, they could have fixed the problem by allowing items to remain in your cart for a little bit longer before being removed. Only a few minutes when they know the system is going to be slow is really asking for problems.2003: San Antonio, Houston, Dallas, Seattle; 2005: Monterrey; 2006: Chicago 1 & 2, Grand Rapids, Cleveland, Detroit; 2008: West Palm Beach, Tampa; 2009: Austin, LA 3 & 4, San Diego; 2010: Kansas City, St. Louis, Columbus, Indianapolis; 2011: PJ20 1 & 2; 2012: Missoula; 2013: Dallas, Oklahoma City, Seattle; 2014: Tulsa; 2016: Columbia, New York City 1 & 2; 2018: London, Seattle 1 & 2; 2021: Ohana; 2022: Oklahoma City0 -

I agree with that, although I don't really know how the "your cart has expired" or whatever thing works. If it is a manual option and 10c only decided to give a few minutes, that should be changed.Yield!

1. Can't seem to get the holiday cd near any holidays...
2. Can't get stickers in a reasonable amount of time (why sell them if they are not ready)
3. Can't get my pre-sale purchased super delux box o crap on the day the rest of the world can go buy them...
4. And finally...entered my credit card information FOUR FUCKING TIMES...and lost out on tickets.
The band should be ashamed of the manner in which it conducts this club. Without them we would not have PJ..and without us, no one would care about PJ....i get told over and over how great 10c is...and how i just shouldn't join if i don't like it. How about the 10c is held accountable for SOMETHING...
Umm, did you check your order history. I've had many a ticket purchase through the 10C blow up on me after I entered my credit card info, and every time the purchase went through and was reflected on my order history page.Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of
arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to
slide in sideways, BBQ sandwich in one hand, cold beer in the other,
body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "Woo Hoo what a
ride"!

I think the "Holiday single" has become officially the yearly single. So WTF does it matter that it arrives on Christmas or not? It will come once a year.
Stickers? I dont know where to go with this.
As far as not getting tickets....thats the breaks. There are only so many tickets to go around.
That being said....its very frustrating when you have them in your virtual hand on 3 separate occasions only to have them removed from your cart.
In my opinion, once they are in your cart, they should stay in your cart. If the server crashes, they should not be removed simply because you didnt complete the transaction in time. If they are left there for an hour, yeah.Turn this anger into

I know it sucks and all, but it's a waste of money (in their eyes I'm speculating) to prepare for 1 day when 364 days, the site is perfect pretty much.
It shouldn't be this way in a perfect world, but the tickets do end up getting sold. Is it fair? No. But I'm not expecting the 10c to do much about it considering it "only" takes 30-45 minutes for the shows to completely sell out.Yield!

Its a crapshoot. Don't get excited until you see a confirmation. Don't expect to get tickets when you are talking a very very very small percentage of the available tickets. Call me a pessimist.0 -
