I dont understand how eddie vedder was so against the ticketmaster thing, and he was all about getting the cheapest tickets possible for the fans.. but youre paying more than 150 for a pair of tickets... wheres all that money going? when i saw alice in chains, deftones and mastodon (only alice in chains was good in my opinion, they rocked) the tickets were 40 bucks. and that was for 3 bands including all of their personnel. and its just eddie vedder, his couple of people and his opening act. theres something wrong with that. so many fans are getting screwed over its sad. for chris cornells solo shows this spring they werent that expensive were they? i dunno... this just seems wrong, and of course im gonna be there but damn why so expensive eddie vedder why?
I find it hard to believe that there is going to be any sort of presale in addition to the ten club presale. I dont know about the other venues but Benaroya in Seattle only seats like 2500 people. Doesnt leave much for a public sale with two presales.

10c members! Check your email there is going to be a second chance to get in on the pre-sale! Good Luck!!!

I totally agree...I love PJ and Ed but this really seems to give the finger to the fans. I'm also astounded by the amount of loyal, kiss ass, jackasses on here who are bending over backwards thanking ten clubs ass as if they are doing some extreme act of generosity for the ticket pre-sales (oh yeah - there servers cannot handle the bandwidth of ticket requests, go figure). Like, who thanks the club for the ticket pre-sale of which you pay a yearly subscription for access to? Oh and then give additional thanks for the tour of which you and others are going to be paying handsomely to see? Like what gives? I'm not going, I refused to go through the fight of getting tickets and especially for that price.
Anyway, I saw you were one of the few that felt the same way over the prices. Even though I decided to suffer over giving in and selling out my own convictions...which makes me feel shitty and good at the same time, LOL.
And eF that idiot that said it was, "because it's Eddie Vedder". Like, really? I hadn't noticed when I posted my original comment.

WHAT? Really? You mean its - THE - Ed Vedder? Holy shit! Glad someone pointed that out...might have missed the show over getting railed on the ticket prices!

I go to a lot of concerts - I don't see this as outrageously priced by any means. He's playing 3000 seat or less venues from what I've seen - and yet it costs just as much to travel from place to place as for stadiums. Ok, not bringing all the band's stuff, but still $$$ - Consider the cost of gas alone these days! And I'm sure he's buying carbon offsets. And we get to see him in as intimate a venue as can be reasonably expected.
And "just eddie vedder"??? As much as I love the band his solo work on Into the Wild was AMAZING. I'm really looking forward to the new album.
Meanwhile - where is that password?
Ok, I have been to a lot of shows too and I have seen some amazing bands in small venues (less than 3000) for way less than that. Bands that had more than 2 albums to play with (eg. Spoon, Death Cab for Cutie, the Pixies, the Flaming Lips, etc). I know it's Ed Vedder of Pearl Jam, but still...I think the price is high. I could see $50 to $60, but definitely not more than $60. You still have to pay the ticket/venue fees as well. I mean the 2nd solo album isn't even released yet, granted 'Into the Wild' is awesome and so is EV.
Yet I have to say this has really made me raise my eyebrows and wonder what's going on. Does he value his and PJ's fan base at all? It really is a stretch from the 1995 Vitalogy "Fuck TicketMaster" days, that was a major reason I loved and respected them. They cared. Makes me wonder now.

I read an interview with Frank Black and they asked him about the Pixies ticket prices and are the Pixies worth it. He responded by saying that they get paid according to what the market says they're worth. I guess the market says Eddie is worth $94 dollars after fees.

 Does anyone ever check out the venue ticket prices? 10c tickets were actually cheaper....if you really really think Ed gets more than 20% -that he shares with crew - do some goddamn homework - and even if he does, experts in their fields are supposed to make the most cash- and we all agree Ed rises above the rest! Enjoy the show!
