What makes me laugh is how you make dvd out to be such poor quality. Its really not. Yeah blu-ray is superior but dvd quality isn't all that bad. Do you not own any dvds then?

It is poor quality if you are comparing it to blu-ray. Of course I own DVD's, however I haven't bought one in 3 years and never will again. I never said DVD was horrible, it is just vastly inferior and there is no reason to not put it out in blu-ray. Hey if you want to spend $25+ on a DVD go for it. I will get it for free from netflix. It's the same way as I stopped buying VHS tapes once I had a DVD player.

I will buy it on dvd. It will go nicely next to the Pearl Jam dvds. I prefer to own the physical format rather than a file on my pc/ps3/xbox etc.

Dude, I don't know you nor do I have any desire to go back and forth with you, but you sure do incite or stir up a lot of unnecessary bickering and never-ending arguments about shit that doesn't amount to a hill of beans and is totally pointless. I'm glad you have others willing to spar with you but not me.
All I have to do is revel in the everyday....then do it again tomorrow

    OH MY GOD!!!

I've been waiting for this moment since August, 17th 2008 and finally the dvd is going to be released!!!
That Washington night was the only Eddie solo show I was able to attend and I've dreamt about watching those moments again since Eddie himself announced there would have been a dvd out of both nights by the White House.
I'm so excited I can hardly breathe

How am I going to let these next two months pass, now?

    I CAN'T WAIT!!!

    That's cool!

Now I know why ED chose Emeks poster for the cover of the DVD. The title says it all. :D
Title: Water on the Road Live Concert DVD

    jeeeeez...

It could be raining money and these guys would be complaining there's no beer.

Ed's got a concert film coming out..

just enjoy it..you don't know it isn't coming out on blu-ray(a format which isn't taking hold by the way)

just sit back relax and enjoy.

Am I missing something? I feel a little special right now but doesn't it say Longing to Belong is available beginning today? Where can we d/l this?

Available world wide and in the US tomorow. I don't exactly understand how we can't get it today but the world does but whatever... I already have it. : 0
Right....but where would someone outside the US go to buy it digitally? That's my question....if it's available to someone in Europe today...in a digital format....then it's obviously on the interweb for purchase, right?

I realize that I can find it illegally with one or two clicks. I'm just wondering where one could buy it today, right now, internationally or whatever.

Something to note: Golden State was never played at either of the DC shows...I wonder if that's a misprint or if they are using a recording of Golden State from a different show on the DVD

  • Anywhere a mention or even a rumor of a blu-ray edition? I'd pay $10 extra if they released one.
