It just irks me that casual fans who have probably bought on the day through the ticketing sites might have scored front row tickets to the Eddie Vedder Australian shows and little old me who has been a big fan for 16 years or so and been a fan club member for 7 years gets stuck way back. Yes I know we were told they were going to be random ... but I didn't think it would be that random and I still assumed they would be close to the stage.

Also I don't have any use for the Singles because I don't have a record player. In fact I gave them all away last Wednesday night in Newcastle and they were used in the Fundraiser raffle. :)

Did u keep your buttons one??

Oh that's right... I've kept the 2009 single mostly because I like the cover. :)

Sounds as though 10 club ticket allocation is random again then.

They definitely seemed to be by seniority at the Brisbane shows though.

Hmmm considering getting normal tickets for the next shows (whenever they hopefully may be!) as my TC tix last night were in the LOUNGE! Dont get me wrong, I was just happy to be there for a very magical show... but I could have gotten better tix through ticketmaster (as I had the night before!)... Random yes... but please TC - random in the selection of the BEST SEATS would be nice... OK whinge over... Now to bask in the afterglow of an amazing EV show :)

I think no matter where I was sitting, I would have enjoyed it :) And Im glad you see my point!!! :) Its just frustrating when you have been a member for so many years and you are seated in the "gods" and then in the merch queue there was a lady who had seats in the stalls who said to her partner "so who IS eddie vedder anyway" - WTF?!?!?!

I share you're frustration! I'm just glad I got to be there both nights in Melb!

i got four row from stage on thursday night and my mate got 3rd row in the lounge upstairs on friday which kind of sucked because your werent allowed to stand up in those seats because of the low rail at the front. but it was great to be at both shows.

I think the venue did mess up a bit in Brisbane and it was seniority based. All the rest were definitely random though.

Just luck of the draw and some strategic ticket buying/swapping and you can usually end up with ok seats.

I think random is good but it would have been better if those random seats were still all in one area. Not spread through the entire venue.

I have a friend who has been a member for 17 years and used 10C for 1 show and got 3rd row from the back upstairs.

    Luck of the draw.

I was happy with seats both nights.

Night 1 we were second row in lounge. This was on a friends number in the low 400. Only dissapponting thing was not being able to stand due to 'safety' concerns. But overall excellent view, better than some in the stalls.

Night two was on my TC number #309xxx and we were 8 rows Stalls. We had friends who was TC Members infront of us which made the experience even better. Also couple next to us had TC tickets and was huge fans aswell.

Overall I was happy with the tickets, and would still get my tickets with TC.

Got row B for Melb1 thru ticketmaster, then row S from 10C for Melb2.

Loved both shows, am just happy to have gotten tickets.

I know what happened... Same deal as the posters, where they got different artists to contribute.

The Tenclub got each state's smartest mathematicians to write random number generators to distribute the 10club tickets...

When EV came through Toronto in 2008 I had Row 12 one night and 13 the other. There was someone I noticed at the shows who I see at every Toronto show and he had 1st row both nights.

I honestly believe there is noting shady going on when it comes to how 10c distributes their tickets for the Eddoe Vedder shows. I just think that some people, like myself, are just naturally gifted with bad luck. :)

Shows were both fantastic and I would have been just as happy if I was up in the 2nd balcony. I'm trying for a show this coming tour. I don't care if I'm twice as far back this time. I'll appreciate just being there (if I can get in!)

Well I must say I had a mix of seats. Some high, some low, some front row... Was good in a way to mix it up for such small shows. But I agree, not to have scattered seats throught the venue, or at least have them close-ish :) some were definitely in the rafters. Worst tickets I had i'd purchased myself through TM... Sorry ticket buddy haha :)

Please note my opinions are only based on the small theatre shows

I'm thinking that at each show the tickets were all put into a bin or bucket, someone shuffled them around, then drew them out and stuffed them into the envelopes which had the 10c membership numbers typed on them. :|

Row C in the lounge for EV on Sunday night in Adelaide.

Was momentarily disappointed when I opened the envelope but we had a great time up there in leather-couch comfort.

If I was going to be anywhere other than right up the front, it'd be there.

I'm pretty sure they played a game of chicken shit bingo and had everyone's ten club number written on the ground, started with the front row tickets, and what ever ten club number the chook shat on got those tickets, they continued the process to all tickets and number were allocated.
