Insert massive eye roll.
I think what the 10c meant is that it isn't seniority based like under the normal system. ie: they didn't seem to have a block of tickets from Row 1 to Row 20 like they do with Pearl Jam. They had maybe 10 pairs in each row. It's probably not as clear as it could be though.
Like I've said in previous posts I feel for those who got 25th row, but we were only guaranteed tickets, not the best rows.
yeah, but i was mainly eye rolling at the people who jumped on and ripped everyone who had a gripe and used those words, i know ten club didn't, they said tix were through out the venue, which they have been, but...
they did say it was not seniority based, which clearly seems not to be the case at all.Post edited by threefish10 oncondescending and sarcastic since 19800 -

Don't agree with this. I am very passionate about PJ, but I was 5 when 10 came out. I could hardly become a member then.... Started listening to pj when I was 8... I could hardly become a member then.
I've been passionate about PJ for a long time, just couldn't get a membership.

It seems that seats are random in the venue but seat allocation isnt random its
based on seniority... so what u need to hope for that there isnt as many ppl with lower
numbers than your number at the show u are attending...
So I would be hoping that at my show everyone that got 10c tickets joined after 2002..
Hey Zig what yr did u join??
Pleased to be going and in the door but Im seriously about getting a small
pr of binoculars in case my seats are far. Will I have a problem getting in with them do
u think? Cos there was no mention if they were banned0 -

Oh yeah, that's right, we got to the gigs at 6am to get dem spots
Yeah like how in Brisbane ppl sat in the sun for a long time then just b4 the gates opened ppl appeared from nowhere and took their spots at the front of the line... thats a fair system... not!
I'd rather the system for EV shows than that.... thats just my opinion ... Im not having a go at
anyone just my preference...
Cant wait to see tonights setlist..0 -

Tickets are being held in unspecified locations throughout the venues." If 10c stated it would be seniority based I'm sure I still would have bought, however I would have also tried my luck on prime seats for another night too I reckon. I wonder why they can't pre book/ pre purchase front row blocks for club members??
Perhaps they didnt want blocks of 10c ppl all together for the show..
But they seem to have selected the same seats for both nights to cover the 10c seats...
But then there mustve been other seats saved for celeberity guests at the show...
cos u wouldnt think Andrew Stockdale would be trying to get tickets online the same day
we all were... There must have been other tickets reserved besides 10c seats....0 -

not necessarily, you could have only joined last week and still love and enjoy pearl jam as much as someone who joined in 92. all it means really is that maybe they heard of the band before you, maybe they heard of the fanclub before you, maybe you heard of the band and fanclub before them but never had the money or what ever to join, all it means is they have forked out $25 a year for 15 years, does that make them more of a fan then anyone else??? not in my opinion.
Yeah true I didnt know about the 10c....and when I found out about it I signed up...
Yeah I dont like all the Im more hardcore than u kinda thing.....

Perhaps they think seeing they can do it seniority based to be fair and so they are....0 -

So far I've heard:
60xxx - front row
133xxx - front row
150xxx - 3rd row
202xxx - 5th row
260xxx - 9th row
380xxx - 20th row
400xxx+ - 25th row
If true and considering hardly anyone seems to be going to canberra, i should be front row, 2nd at worst. In theory0 -

as long as your binos dont have a flash, or a microphone/SD card, i think you'll be ok.Yeh I've seen Pearl Jam, too. But I can't remember the dates.0 -

Definitely b4 the 2003 shows.. I became a member Dec 2002 and went to the 2003 show in Melb..
Didnt have 10c tickets didnt even know if I qualified for them.. I bought 2 tickets for the Melb shows in the January...
I did however query once the 1st newsletter I got had a different member number but it was about 1,000 less
than my number .. I could check sometime but my 1st newsletter had a different 10c number to what I have
now but in my history it shows where I signed up ..so its weird about the number difference..0
