I know how you feel Ian. You get to a point where you listen to so many boots that you start to feel a little burnt out and need a break, but once you do take a break, the bug hits you again and have to keep fighting it and before you know it you're listening to a boot again.
Same here. There are times where all I'll listen to for 2-3 weeks are PJ boots. I love PJ, but there's a ton of other great music out there to listen to. But yeah, I'm usually back to PJ after another 2-3 weeks.

Since you just finished the 2006 tour, what do you think you'll listen to once you start listening again?
I probably should have taken a week off after finishing the Euro '06 tour. The first 4 or 5 shows in Australia really did nothing for me but then the final boots I got a 2nd wind and enjoyed those. But yeah I was burnt out in the end. Since ending the 2006 boots I've not listened to ANY Pearl Jam until today. Played Lost Dogs earlier. I think I'm going to try another week before starting the boots again. I aim to do the 2009 tour next (I've heard 9 of the Euro & US shows, Philly and Oz/NZ tour before) but I'm considering doing the 3 shows from this year and the Vault shows first.
I really want to do the US boots from 2003 but I need to find the final 10 boots to complete my collection first!!!

Not listened to any boots for weeks but today I'm having my first listen to Pensacola 12 which I'm greatly enjoying. Oceans is beautiful and I was really hoping Interstellar Overdrive was going to carry on a few bars longer as it sounded amazing but the version of Corduroy which follows it is something else. Still not a fan of Got Some and it's a really weak version but they redeem themselves with Once and Given To Fly and even Amongst The Waves which I'm not a fan of sounds pretty good on this boot. Good momentum is kept up through Grievance, Even Flow and Worldwide Suicide. Again I'm not fond of The Fixer but I resisted the skip button and Daughter/It's OK wiped out the memory. Nice to see a US crowd getting Of The Earth and not a bad version of Small Town follows it. Parachutes is a rarity I'd happily hear despite it not being so popular. Unthought Known is definitely an outdoors song made for these kind of shows and I enjoyed it more than I sometimes do. Do The Evolution and Porch is a great combo to end any main setlist. Made it as far as Black now which is sounding lovely. Looking forward to RVM but I will be skipping Baba O Riley for sure. For me the worst song in PJ's repertoire. I must say the sound on this boot is absolutely amazing. Nice to return to PJ after a little break to give some of my other favourite artists some time...
