    I feel sorry for you Gary. :cry: If this can help, I cannot open my hard drive too. I get this message that says you need to format it first. If I choose yes, I'm about to lose thousands of pictures (including concerts). :fp: So , I gave it to a technician and wait for his answer. Hopefully, that will come on this Monday. Fingers crossed he can save all of my data.
