Boyo has inspired me to listen to some 2006 boots. The past few days have listened to Adelaide I, Newcastle and Milan, with Pittsburgh, Grand Rapids and The Gorges on deck. Man do I love that I have a job where I can go to work, put some headphones on and listen to Sirius radio and PJ boots all day. God bless America.

Any other 2006 suggestions will be welcomed.

The stunning Release that was shown on the PJ20 film starts things off, it really is one of my favourite versions. 1/2 Full and Gone (with a nice little extended intro) are good inclusions but Not For You, Grievance and Marker In The Sand are a little clunky together and sloppy in places - especially as they end Not For You and go into Grievance. Inside Job and Come Back together are two more highlights as well.

Really good start with Go>Last Exit>Save You. Midway through the main set, I Am Mine, Man Of The Hour, MFC and Faithfull is great. Picture In A Frame starts the 1st encore followed by Parachutes. The 2nd encore is pretty standard for this tour now, Evolution aside.

    Kansas City 2010

Another totally underrated and overlooked show of 2010. What a dark horse show this is. This will always get overlooked by the likes of the MSG shows, Boston, Newark, Hartford, and I would even go as far as saying Cleveland and Noblesville. Ed makes it perfectly clear from the get go and throughout the show how much he loves being in KC and the crowd (hoping they make a stop there again this year and St Louis as they love playing there too). Just a really cool tight show, and really kicks off the 2010 tour. Really, really good version of Of The Girl to open which tops the Newark version by miles. Really great energy all around from the crowd and band. The Midwest loves you PJ - hope to see you here this fall.

In my opinon, this is easily one of the better boots of the US leg of the 2010 tour.

    St. Louis 2010

Another great show in the state of Missouri. Ed even acknowledges that the state of Missouri has been great to them the past two days playing in Kansas City and now St. Louis. Great crowd again and dug the setlist, opening with a killer version and build up of Sometimes, then shredding into Corduroy, All Night, DTE, and Why Go. Highlights were In Hiding, Down, Pilate, and 1/2 Full making splashes in the main set. Beautiful version of Inside Job to open the first encore which closes with RVM. Excellent second encore opening with Garden, followed by Alive, Baba, and YL with a Little Wing tag from Mike. PJ come back to Missouri soon - you guys always have great shows in STL and love playing there!

    "The Avocado Show".

Excellent start with Go, the effects pedal Mike uses at the start is superb. Crowd are in good voice for Animal & Small Town and then its on with playing Avocado in full. The first time you hear this it's pretty cool but whenever you revisit the boot, this section gets a bit boring IMO just because you know what is coming. It's abit like watching The Sixth Sense for the 2nd time, it's not as good as the 1st time round because now you know the twist at the end! Back to the boot, Evolution and Rearviewmirror end the main set.

Jeremy kicks off the 1st encore, Lukin and Betterman follow but with the 3 songs together there isn't really a flow. Black is next before we're treated to Tremor Christ for the first and only time in 2006! It's 3 years before this gets played again and on the performance here you have to question why! Alive rounds out the 1st encore. Blood usually ends a main set or 1st encore but here it starts the 2nd encore. Next up is Even Flow and then Baba O'Riley before Indifference perfectly closes the show.

Instellar Overdrive & Corduroy start the final show of the Italia shows. After Corduroy it's Rearviewmirror in an unusual slot in the set, and its a short RVM with no extended jam like normal. It's an 'Avocado' run through next with Life Wasted, World Wide Suicide, Severed Hand and Unemployable. Dissident & 1/2 Full sound great before Mike & Matt let loose on Even Flow. Come Back is early in the set and doesn't sound out of place with a great Not For You/Modern Girl following. Next up, on request is Breath and it's the only time it gets played in 2006. It's a high energy end to the main set with Why Go, Comatose and Porch.

Last Kiss opens the 1st encore, with Hail Hail up next. Black hits the heights as you'd expect and dual solo's of Mike & Boom on Crazy Mary is excellent. Last Exit starts the 2nd encore, they seem to be in a hurry on Spin The Black Circle - I don't think I've heard them play it so fast! Rockin In The Free World and Yellow Ledbetter bring the curtain down on the Italia mini-tour. Of the 5 shows, I think this is my favourite.

Thanks to Ledbetterman10, Tokyo-2003. Ed is on a very loose mode and he even tries to speak spanish at first. He inserts new wording to lyrics at will and doesnt hesitate to experiment while singing. Although with this lose mode, the band does a few screw-ups here and there, overall band playing keeps tight. It is fun to listen to it.

    Super boot.

Long Road starts preceedings, the first time played in Europe since Verona '00. Why Go raises the tempo straight after followed by Evolution, Severed Hand, Corduroy and Whipping. We're treated to Red Mosquito next, for the 1st time on the Euro tour. Small Town then follows but Ed stops it 10 seconds in, thinking they've already played it - 'Small Town Mosquito'

Towards the end of the main set Glorified G gets played in Europe for the first time since 1996 and Satan's Bed for the 1st ever time in Europe. Porch closes the main set.

Next is a truly great 1st encore. The first song is a major surprise - Fatal. Only the 3rd time it has been played, and it's very good although Ed flubs the lyrics towards the end. Off He Goes follows before Black, which Stone messes up the intro. But what follows next is incredible, most likely the best Black I've heard. I Believe In Miracles and Alive complete the 1st encore.

The 2nd encore starts Last Exit with Leash & Betterman after. Dirty Frank gets played for the 2nd time on the 2006 tour but its not as good as its Gorge appearance. This is also the last time it has been played. Comatose and Fuckin' Up end what is a truly fantastic show. One of the best of 2006.

Thanks. Recently have been able to have access to this bootleg. The setlist looks impressive. Will spin it this week, with increased hopes from these positive remarks of yours.
