  • so awesome the use of Ten and Twenty in the making of the beer:

"Another interesting label today from Dogfish Head Brewery called Pearl Jam Twenty Faithfull Ale (ale brewed with currants). Looks like it will be 750ml bottles and 7% ABV. “Faithful Ale is a celebration of Pearl Jam’s 20th Anniversary & their seminal album Ten – In recognition of these milestones this Belgian-style golden ale is delicately hopped to 20 IBUs and fruit-forward from 10 incremental additions of black currants over the course of the one"

I hope you are right. I wouldn't be able to find the beer here but am headed to Philly in November.
If they stay on their release schedule, it will be November 8-)

Pj caskets are just around the corner, YES!
And so you see, I have come to doubt
All that I once held as true
    I stand alone without beliefs
The only truth I know is you.

Is this stuff going to be widely distributed? I forsee a one time making of this with somewhat limited distribution. Also, I hope they don't sell it on this web site :)!

    Oh fuck yes!!

I wonder if they'll ship to Australia?

I read Sam Calagione's (founder of Dogfish Head) book 'Brewing up a Business' a few months ago. Good read. You should check it out.

They were made aware of it this week. No release date yet, as the beer is not made/finished being made yet. Ill pass along the release date/amount being made availabe when he knows.
  • If they wont ship maybe another PJ fan that lives close to their brewpub can help some of us out.
I would gladly paypal for a 6er and comp you for your time.

It's definetly going to stores. It's the same type of release as their previous bitches brew and hellhound releases. 750ml bottles, limited number of cases, but not impossible to find. If your state has dogfish head, should be able to find it somewhere.

i am stunned, right down to the OP's name for the beer. since i am in TX and will not likely get dist for this wicked product, i will be looking for some trades, i homebrew and have arrogant bastard and lagunita ipa clones in signficant supply for anyone interested.

I live in the Dallas area and I have access to all sorts of Dogfish brew. You can't get it down there?

If they make this and I get some we can work something out.

we get the regs and seasonals but missed out on bitches brew and the hellhound brew unless you were at the downtown specs upon release. i will be on lookout and if you p/up an extra, i have plenty to trade.

ps this calls for a bottle of dfh punking, really good this year, if youve not had, p/up a 4 pack.

Since we're talking beer, Founder's Breakfast Stout comes out monday. Pumped! best beer ever besides Founder's Kentucky Breakfast stout, canadian breakfast stout coming out this year, maple syrup. Anyway, I'll be able to get a case of PJ20, i'm sure of that. Perhaps I'll share with the less fortunate in NJ area. If there's one thing i know, it's beer. If there's a second thing, it's pearl jam.

Dogfish head pumpkin is horrible this year, that's a fact and anyone who says otherwise is sadly mistaken. Clearly the worst batch they have ever made. It's a harvest ale this year, not a pumpkin beer, no pumpkin flavor.

Much less pumpkiny. A waste of $50 on a case. There are much better pumpkin beers this year.

Well I am happy to know that I'm not going crazy. Maybe they were focusing so much on the PJ20 beer that they did not have time to perfect the others .
