    unbelievable.

yea and didn't even need the refs to swallow their whistles in the end game to hold on
    :))

hard to believe a team that lost to my Hawks could beat a top 10 team by 25. Only saw from about the 15 minute mark of the 2nd half on but seemed like Temple never missed. I know they got two transfers eligible after the Nova game (shockingly Nova had the game scheduled before they were eligible) but still hard to believe.

Their point guard play was awful v. LaSalle. That was their one true weak spot. Whoever he is must be making a huge difference.

Edit: I just heard Cumming played point last night. He looked awful v. LaSalle.

yea he was terrible against the Hawks too. something like 3-16 from the field.

here is an incredible stat about Bill Self at Kansas. he has won more regular season conference championships (10) at Kansas than he has lost home games (9). that's incredible.

Nova against Hall should be a good game. Hopefully Nova wins but wouldn't surprise me if they lost to a good Seton Hall team at their place.

Ochefu has turned himself into a pro. St. John's is a strange team. a lot of talent but just don't play together. way too much talent to be 0-3 in the league.

And a hard fought win for Nova too. That's the kind of game they will need to win next month. Good test against an always fiesty Friars team.

so lunardi has nova still a 2 seed in the east (virginia's bracket). would love that to be the case.

temple is a 10 in the midwest going up against gtown. march can't get here soon enough!

Gotta think Nova is almost a lock for a 2 seed. maybe chance of dropping to a 3 but can't imagine they are losing more than once before the Big East Tourney and I got a feeling they are going to win that this year.

Temple just needs to avoid bad losses at this point. With the win over Kansas and doing well in the league they are looking pretty solid for a bid. Nice comeback by Dunph this year after struggling mightily last year.

My Hawks suck once again. at least we have one stud in Bembry. he was a little disappointing in the pre-conference schedule but has been fantastic in the A10. Probably the best player in the league now that Briante Webber is out for VCU. Lots of people including myself hoping this is it for Martelli. He has one more year on his contract after this year and asked for an extension after the A10 Tourney title and NCAA bid last year and was turned down. If he is going to be out expect it to get ugly. I don't see him as a guy going quietly.

LaSalle - kind of a dark horse in the A10 Tourney this year. Some nights they look great and other nights not so much. I think they could make a 3 or 4 day run in the A10 though. A10 is WIDE open for the Tourney with no dominant or really great teams. pretty much 7 or 8 teams could win the Tourney. I suspect that 3 A10 teams will make the NCAAs. right now VCU, Dayton and Davdison look good.

Haven't seen as much college hoops this year as normal but hasn't been a great season. Only really remember seeing about 3 really good games on tv including last night's Duke-Carolina game. Interesting to see if Kentucky loses. I still think they lose one at some point. I don't see them going undefeated throughout season and tourny.

Sounds good but when it comes to these teenagers i don't get too excited over verbal commitments any more. Too many change there minds. And if KenCROOKY is still involved i won't be shocked, if they really want him, they STEAL him away from Nova. Until they sign that letter of intent do you REALLY know what school there going to.

with the Zags losing last night Nova could be moving towards a #1 seed if they win out. I hate em but they are really good. play the right way, play hard, share the ball and a great mix of upperclassmen and talented underclass. gotta think they are headed for a Sweet 16 at worst this year.

and how about Bill Murray at the LaSalle game yesterday? didn't realize his son is an assistant at Rhode Island.

if they win the rest of their games and get pretty far in the big East tourny, they should get a #1 seed i believe.
