when did greg oden turn 45?

    1. About 4 years ago.
    2. Just another Blazers Center tragedy. Compare him to Walton too. If he can stay healthy, maybe he would be between Walton and Bowie, talent and success wise.

How sad for him and the blazers. Hey, at least he's not Brent Barry right now.

There was a story in the Times fairly recently about how close the Blazers were to having Durant and Jordan.

Walton won a title in portland. Not fair to compare him to oden

Truth. His stats just support how kick ass of a PG he is. I always love to watch Chicago play because of D. Rose.

So, the Jazz beat the Lakers last night. I attended in the lower bowl...excellent seats. Had 3 beers and screamed my ass off. It was great. One of the best NBA games I've attended. I think Big Al is finally coming around and understanding Sloan's style of offense. 8-)

I still think it's stupid if they're trying to turn that into a Melo rental. Don't give up their youth just yet...

I don't know about the real fast part, but I like how they are actually rebuilding. Giving it all up for Carmelo isn't the answer, IMO.

yeah ... i wouldn't sell the farm for melo either but he's looking at drawing attendance so, if he needs a marquee name to fill the seats and boxes ... he may have to do it ...

If Amare can continue playing like he has been and continue to get his team to play at an equal level, the Knicks have a great shot. But, I'll still go with the Celtics.

I'm waiting for that to wear off anyway. At some point they have got to go back to mediocre, right? I just can't see the Knicks really being that good.

Never say never. I never thought I'd see Cleveland be as dominant as they were. Key word is "were".

Do you think the Jazz will get past being an average team in the west? Sure they're in the playoffs year after year, but always seems like they need one more piece to get it together.
