so i guess the gay community is in for a 4 million dollar diamond ring :D

Lakers guard Kobe Bryant issued the following statement today in response to feedback regarding a comment made during last night’s game:

“What I said last night should not be taken literally. My actions were out of frustration during the heat of the game, period. The words expressed do NOT reflect my feelings towards the gay and lesbian communities and were NOT meant to offend anyone.”

good for sacremento, although if the maloofs want to build an areana, why don't they pony up some vegas dollars and do it themselves.

Isn't this almost exactly what happened to Seattle?
Didn't they come back for a year (gave people hope), and then they were screwed.
Same things gonna happen. Just wait....

Similar. Although in Seattle's case, I think there was more hope because an outside person came in as almost a "hero" and then turned around and fucked the franchise big time.

I really enjoy watching OKC play and I love Kevin Durant... but I hate cheering for Clay Bennett's organization.

Kudos to the fans for always supporting that franchise.

I think any California NBA team is destined to live in the shadows of the Lakers, who are perhaps the biggest drawer of fraudulent fans.

For that reason, I will always cheer against them. Fuckin Zombies.
What makes it worse, is that this should be the blueprint for how to rebuild a franchise (roster-wise, that is).

I try to imagine them in Sonics jerseys everytime I watch.

I won't lie though, I really admire that fan base. They make Jazz fans look like pussies (and we were considered the most rabid fan base for a while).

Celtics are the Flyers of the NBA. Get off to a great start to the season, than go into chump mode during the last part of the regular season.

Miami is a contender, and in my mind, right now they are the favorite.

What baffles me is that all the NBA blabber is mostly done by people who can't spell worth a shit. It's consistent, and frankly annoying and hard to read.

Maybe that makes me sound stuck-up, I don't know...
