I thought the leafs played well enough to win, but Miller was the difference and when you have over 2 mins of 5 on 3 you should at least score once.

that was awful power play ...

sabres are a good team ... made better if miller continues to play like that ...

Leafs played pretty well. had 8 shots on that 2 man. Miller was the difference. Fluke goal by Hodgson.

The Sabres were completely out of gas from the beginning of the 2nd period on.

sabres controlled the play in the first period ... we got all our shots on that extended 2-man advantage ... although miller was solid ... we were awful on that pp ... there's no way a team shouldn't have scored with that advantage for so long ...

anyone figure out why myers wasn't given a penalty for leaving the box early?

How about the misconducts for Kaleta and the stash at the end of the 2nd? overreaction.

Lupul's injury is reported to be a fractured forearm. Hopefully after re-examination tomorrow it'll be something less. Despite losing him, the Leafs pulled off a solid effort and got two points tonight.

I was scared, thinking we should ride our winning goalie into the Pens game. Thanfully Reimer, although not 100% effective, pulled through and gave his team a chance to win.

goaltending has been the achilles on this team for a long time ... sounds like scrivens and reimer have a great relationship so hopefully the two of them just work well together and we get solid goaltending regardless of who's between the pipes ...

Any you guys fed up with Kessel anymore? Wasn't a big fan of him when he came, but gave him benefit of the doubt, he was young. But last night 1 of the announcers says in the 1st talking about Kessel and this is yr 4 for him now. Gotta say, can't believe its been that long already and I think he has digressed the past couple of yrs. I don't like him and I think he has got to go  I thought he was a sniper

5 Scrivens, 1 Reimer, 1 empty net, i guess i'm the only one who likes Kessel and he did finnish 6th in the NHL in points last year and he also had 17 more points then Tyler Segin last year

shortened nhl season ... it's all about fitness and who wants it more ...

as for kessel ... we need him to be who he is and not who we want him to be ... just go out and try and score ...

He's also got 4 more NHL seasons under his belt than Seguin.

Bad game last night. 1 bad game out of 4 isn't a bad start, though.

    edit: PS Boooooooooooooooooooo!

I understand that but people act like Kessel has done nothing 4 straight 30+goal seasons and it's not Phil's fault that he was traded for Seguin, Hamilton and Knight, it's Burkes fault only, well i'd be more worried about Dion Phaneuf
