Well generally you don't just drop the gloves and start pounding on someone, haha, although if he had of done that last night I don't think he'd be in the press box the next game ;)
Rough week for my guys, we had been playing well and this is a complete reversal. Still would prefer that draft pick over making the playoffs for no reason (aka lose in 4 or 5 in round 1) so I'm not terribly upset.

Nice win over Sens on saturday, alittle closer than I would have liked for most part. Lets get another winning streak going and keep moving forward :)

Kessel has disappeared again........or did he ever appear. They need to trade this bum

nice win last night ... kadri's leading the team in scoring ... pretty crazy ...

i'm now prepared to blame the last few seasons on francois allaire ... our goaltending has been awful in recent years and i totally blame him ... now that he's gone ... we got 2 solid options ...

back to back shutouts, i hope they stick with Scrivens tonight as i would be worried if Rynnas got the start

didn't think they could sweep the florida trip ... good that they bounced back at home ... i'm also of the opinion that playing in toronto is hard for some players who can't handle the pressure (media, fans, etc.) ... hence their varying records ... hopefully, that's changing and we can be somewhat consistent ...

kessel is looking pretty good ... must be a contract year ...

Good to see Riemer is back on the ice and Lupul as well. Sounds like maybe another week for Riemer and he'll be good to go. Scrivens still played pretty good, he just dosen't give a great sense of confidence when he plays..IMO

might be time to move some of our D men ... there is just a gluttony ... komisarek, liles in the press box ... gardiner in waiting ...
  • BLACK35BLACK35 Hanover, Ontario Posts: 22,674
hopefully they can maybe package a couple of the D-men for a nice scoring forward. By the sounds of it, they might hav to send Korbinan Holzer down, he doesn't have to clear waivers where everyone else does or I say send down Komaserik and if someone claims him.......oh well no big loss.

totally got outplayed last night and the better team won although all the goals were kind of odd ones and flukey ... except for pacioretty's i guess ...

our D-men our eating too many pucks ... habs forecheck worked so well because we weren't moving the puck at all ...

i admit montreal played better, but it sucks that the winning goal came on a faceoff win that the linesman botched but thats the way it goes sometimes

Doesn't matter. McLaren's goal was 100% fluke as well, it happens.
You guys were sorely outplayed, your big guns didn't show up at all. Scrivens played good, and was the only reason you were in it, IMO. Shouldn't bother you too much, I imagine there will be some more jump tonight.

you guys read kerry fraser's blog on tsn? ... he pretty much said that the linesman was supposed to redo that face off ... horrible to have the game decided like that ...
