If so, then HELL YES!!!
This is freaking hilarious!!!!
Personally I think a sax makes rock music sound cheap...like Huey Lewis but that's me. Although on Badmotorfinger there is a song that rocks a sax out...i can stomach it but it still sounds a bit out of place.
Comeback would be the only thing of off the top of my head I'd be interested to hear a sax on...interesting post.1998 - St. Louis
2000 - St. Louis
2003 - West Palm Beach, St. Louis, Champaign, Bonner Springs, and East Troy
2004 - St. Louis, Asheville, and Kissimmee
2005 - Kitchener and London, Ontario
2006 - Chicago Night 1, Cincinnati, and St. Paul Night 1

That is a terrible idea! If I wanted to hear shitty music with a saxophone I would listen to Dave Matthews Band.0
-
glad to hear this idea is picking up steam.
come on pj, the people have spoken----bring the sax back!www.myspace.com0 -
Yes... but only if its the guy from Spandau Ballet0

Wow! Not much love here for the sexophone.0
-
I would support this if they did a post-apocolyptic themed, Mad Max album..
I think they could get the guy from the 2:55 mark of this video to rock out with Boom during Crazy Mary..

I'm still waiting for the horn section Ed promised at MSG 7/9/03. Ya know, in reference to keeping up with that family in Jersey that is naming their kids after the band members.0

i don't think a full out horn section is going to happen. but considering they've dabbled with the saxophone in the past, i certainly think this is possible. ed hinted at it in some interviews that came out last year. to me, this is just the natural evolution of the band.www.myspace.com0 -
No way i hope it never happens ..jesus greets me looks just like me ....0

If they add a saxophonist, they should get this guy:

Well said.0 -
You know, they played @ the "Jazz Festival" last May. Wouldn't hurt to have a Saxophonist on stage on a song or two you know. Maybe on Lukin or something.
Nobody here likes Jazz music? :shock:0 -
there was some great saxophone on the Mad Season record! but, PJ? I couldnt picture it, but who knows...Pick up my debut novel here on amazon: Jonny Bails Floatin (in paperback) (also available on Kindle for $2.99)0
