Exterior of Monk's coffee shop. Cut to Jerry and George at their regular booth.

A newspaper blocks out view of George's face. He lowers the paper to reveal...

a moustache.

George: What is Holland?

Jerry (also wearing a moustache): What do you mean, 'what is it?' It's a

country right next to Belgium.

George: No, that's the Netherlands.

Jerry: Holland *is* the Netherlands.

George: Then who are the Dutch?

Jerry (picking at his moustache): You know I cannot stand this thing anymore.

George: I know, I hate it too. I feel like an out of work porn star.

Jerry: I told you, we should have taken some kind of vacation.

George: Well why didn't we?

Jerry: Because you said this would be better. Remember? A vacation from

ourselves. That's what you said.

George: What if we grew muttonchops?

Jerry: No.

George: Buzz cuts? Parachute pants!

Jerry: Stop it, George. Stop it. I'm sorry, you've gotta get a job.

George(resigned): Dammit.

there was an early episode where Jerry and George play some game to settle who's going to get the apartment I think. they say "I'll choose you for it". what does that mean? I don't even understand the game when they play it.

Years ago me and my buddy went to a Jerry Seinfeld New Years Eve show in Vegas at the Thomas and Mack Center (holds 18,000+) and he walked straight down the aisle to the stage while Jerry was in the middle of his act and gave Jerry a Batman pez dispenser.

i think you are talking about when they play odds/even. 1.2.3 shoot then each person puts out number of fingers. however many are out combined determines who wins based on odds/even.

One of my roommates that I lived with I couple of years after I graduated college made this our as our message for our answering machine. It was the greatest thing ever...but we definitely confused a few callers..

I did my own answering machine version of that very song years before that episode existed. when it aired, my buddy called me up immediately and said "they did what you did! they stole your idea!".
