Kind of bummed that Zooropa is only available on the incredibly expensive version.

Assuming that Zooropa is remastered, of course.

    Achtung Baby (Uber Deluxe) $420.49

Achtung Baby (Super Deluxe Edition) $117.02

Prices need to come down quite a bit more I think for those two sets. Keep going with the price breaks U2, please!
The Super Deluxe Edition is a reasonable price, but that Uber baby has to keep coming down.

Currently watching the documentary on the BBC.. quite surprised at what a great voice The Edge has.

    Bono.... well....

Just watched From the sky down. It's incredible. Even if you're not a U2 fan it's enjoyable. A band nearly breaking up and having nothing come to them into a moments inspiration saving them and a whole record coming from it. It's not a band history, just focuses on that transitional period into Achtung Baby and Zoo tv. It's excellent. Heartily recommend it.

Edge has a great voice. Bono's voice is shot. A lot of shows in the tours and smoking doesn't help either.

Looking forward to watching the movie later this month on Showtime!

No probs. I keep hearing Mysterious Ways on the radio and reminded how good Bono's singing was for the whole album. I would probably just repeat what I'm sure I said earlier in this thread - his phrasing and lyrics across Achtung Baby are amongst the best stuff he's done imo. I would join in the discussion again Chris, but I'd only end up saying this same thing over and over again

It's great what you've said. I agree with you about his singing. Also, his best lyrics are on this album.

From the Sky Down, the new movie about the album, has a part with Bono listening to an early take of Mysterious Ways and you can him phrasing the verses without lyrics.
