    yes, but I do not see anything about either albums being remastered. This is what it says:

    "6 CDs including the original Achtung Baby album, the follow-up album, Zooropa, B-sides and re-workings of previously unheard material recorded during the Achtung Baby sessions."

    Only way I am getting this is as a present or wait a year or two when it will be in the discount bin.
    I have most of the dvd's and music that they listed. All I would be interested in seeing are the book and the new movie.
    I'm sure it's remastered but they probably left that out. I will be disappointed if they weren't remastered.

    But I agree with you, the only way I'll get this is as a gift. I just wish there was a link for the US Amazon also.

    I was really excited about this release... seeing that price for the uber big box, maybe the 6cd 4dvd without everything else will have to suffice, and even then it's got to come down in price.

    Yeah, I know what you mean. As much as I want the Uber set, I might settle on the Super Deluxe set and the vinyl set. I would think the 6 CDs and 4 DVDs are the exact same one's that are in the Uber set.

    Looks like it, so you're essentially paying for the Fly shades, the clear vinyl singles and a couple of other bits of (admittedly very nice) tat. For the cost difference you could easily get the vinyl singles, probably the released vinyl set and a pair of Fly shades. Like U2 aren't going to sell all the merchandise they can on the website! There's a lot of comment on the atu2 forums about it might not have been remastered as it doesn't mention it anywhere.

    Reading the info about the DVDs, kind of bummed one of them is the Sydney one, which is commercially available. I was hoping they'd release an arena show from the tour.

    Yep. Looks like I'll be dishing out for the super deluxe edition and the vinyl edition, even though I'd love to have the 7" inch vinyl. I just wish the concert was different.

    It might sound crazy, but once I saw that the Bono Fly sunglasses were included I was sold. I have wanted a pair of those since I first saw them. That is such a cool thing to add to a boxset!

    Actually the fact that they are (re)releasing the Sydney show and those music videos kinda pisses me off. If they're in blu-ray, it'll be cool though.

    Damn you, I'm almost tempted at that price. Even though I know it's still way too much! To be fair, you get more for your money than if you laid that amount out for a Benny Hall so is it really that bad? :D

    Yeah, I was really happy about this announcement and then I read it was the Sydney show, I got kind of bummed. I was hoping for an arena show. I thought they would've done something like the Joshua Tree remaster and reissue. The book looks interesting to me. I agree with you about the show and videos, if it's in blu-ray, I would like it.

    The interesting bit is that the book appears to be larger for the Super Deluxe than the Uber Deluxe, 92 pages as opposed to 84, I'm guessing it's a typo but you never know. Hopefully Amazon etc. will decide to beat Universal at the pricing thing.

    I hope so. If I had a lot of money, I'd buy the Uber set because of 7" singles. But it looks like I'll only be getting the Super Deluxe set. I hope it's not a typo for the book.

    One of my friends was manager at a record store and he took home these cubes that were the shop display when the album came out, with different pictures from the cover on each of the sides. He had about 16 of them and they were mounted on his wall. It looked so cool, like a 3d album cover.

    He had loads of cool shit like that but he died unexpectedly and his uncle who inherited the estate just threw everything away! :shock:
