I can't drop that kind of money on any album, but I do want the doc and the re-mastered vinyl.

That vinyl box is ridiculous expensive.... 170 bucks for 4 slabs of vinyl????? Nirvana is only 60...was 50... and Okonokos by MMJ can be picked up for 40-45????

Yeah, the Amazon.com prices are completely off the map. Here's a nice site comparing the prices of the various versions of the Achtung Baby boxset: http://www.atu2.com/achtungbaby.html
I see that the price on Amazon.ca is now also almost CDN$ 170 (it used to be CDN$ 100). Converted to $ the price on Universal Music UK is about $90. That's still a lot, but already about half of what Amazon.com is charging.

I've been looking at that site, too. The Super Deluxe is somewhat a reasonable price but the vinyl box set is WAY too much. I'll have to check the other sites and Google the conversion of the international websites.

For me, either that or "Stay" are their most underrated of all-time. They're both in my top 10 U2 songs.

I agree, Achtung Baby! is a masterpiece and one of the greatest albums ever and an album that shouldn't be denied of its greatness.

It's a relief to hear the Doc will be available as a standalone Blu or DVD, thought it was strange that it was only going to a part of though montrously over priced box sets, I've ordered the vinyl's but I can't justify lashing that much out on one album despite it being my all time fav and the Doc would have been my main motivation anyway and I much rather have it on Blu than standard DVD anyway. I've laid down for the new Smiths vinyl boxset but that's much better value.
