A very underrated album for sure.

    Peace

I wouldnt say it's underrated. Just about my favourite U2 album, I agree with the person who said every track's good and there's no fillers on it.

I heard this somewhere and wanted to know if it's true that the band barely gained any money from the ZOO TV Tour? Anyone heard this before?

That is correct, though 'barely gained any money' is all relative. From what I understand they did walk away from the Zoo TV Tour with about $30 million. However, most -if not all- of that was from merchandise sales. And considering the gross from ticket sales that isn't much. They were burning money at that time, putting so much back into the shows. The costs of that tour were enormous (for that time) and the ticket prices were very reasonable. So it was a thin line between profit and loss. Had the summers when they were touring been a bit different with lower ticket sales, then they probably had made a loss on it.

I'm quite happy with mine, I have the original and I would say the new one sounds better.

Thanks. I found an original on eBay for $70 and was wondering if I should get that one or the reissue version.

I was listening to Celtic Crush the other day (XM radio program featuring Celtic music) and they played Who's Gonna Ride Your WIld Horses. Afterwards, the host (Larry Kirwin, singer for Black 47) was raving about Bono's lyrical wit and the line "who's gonna taste your saltwater kisses". He basically went gay and wished he was getting saltwater kisses from Bono, he loved that line so much. :D

I will be 80 years old and still love this album.

Someone is selling the 20th Anniversry 4LP edition on ebay for $65ea. with a release date of 11/9/12. Wasn't this released last year? Does anyone know if it's already being reissued?
    Alright, alright, alright!

It's an amazing album; as I posted on the "90's" thread, I think it's the best album of the 90's, hands down.
