As somebody who dislikes the Steelers, I say he's the shit.
So many close games today. I switched over to RedZone at one point this afternoon to see what else was happening in the league, and there were 5 1-score games going on at once, and they all came down to pretty much the last play. The RedZone dudes were shitting their pants.

Awww yeahhh Torrey Smith!! Even though I'm a Jets fan, super proud of a fellow Terp, that was pretty damn awesome!

Well, I was speaking of the entire production, they were flipping around so fast that Hansen couldn't keep up, double boxing, triple boxing, etc.

That's two games in a row Eli has led the Giants to a comeback win over Brady and the Patriots. Right now, he's having his best season.

Attention fans of the Dolphins: You can officially give up hope on the Andrew Luck sweepstakes.
There is no way the Colts are winning two games this year. They are that bad. The remaining good players are faking injuries so they can sit the year out. Reggie Wayne's stock is plummeting faster then Netflix's (bummer for a guy in a contract year) without Manning running the show.
How is it possible that losing a QB can have this big of impact? A lot of Manning's detractors point out his big losses, but after watching this season of a debacle, he should be lauded as keeping a crappy team in the playoffs year after year.
Also, Dan Orlovsky has the chance to be part of trivia history as the only NFL player to be on the roster of two teams that go 0 - 16.
Bummer. But now people will use this as an excuse when the Texans falter down the stretch but let's face it; they would have just been that "Team Who Won A Crappy Division And Got Pounded By New England, Pittsburgh, Or Baltimore In The Playoffs." Still think they can win their division with Leniart cause of that great running game...but these guys weren't gonna be a real championship threat...even if they are in the #1 seed as of this injury.

I disagree. The AFC is garbage...it's wide open. They have 2 great RBs and an underrated defense. They would have gotten andre johnson back. If he and schaub were healthy they could have made some noise come playoff time.
Pittsburgh is the best team in the AFC by default. Definitely not unbeatable though.

I disagree, I thought this could have been there year, they already beat the steelers and they were missing their best player for part of the game. They have the best D in the league so far and they have (had) some of the best offensive players

Yeah team is unbeatable. But I would bet (I was really looking forward to betting) against the Texans in their first playoff game. Being a #3 or #4 seed would have landed them probably the Patriots/Jets or Steelers/Ravens who are all experienced in the playoffs. Not saying that means everything. But I think the Texans would have gone out like last year's Chiefs or the 2008 Dolphins. "WE MADE THE PLAYOFFS! Oh fuck, we're going home"

Yeah but their win over the Steelers would mean nothing if they met in the playoffs. I mean I see why people were high on them and winning without Williams and with early injuries to Foster was very impressive. I've always felt the NFL season really breaks into three parts: Week 1 through week 7, week 8 through week 15, and then week 16 through the Super Bowl. I just wasn't confident in the Texans keeping it up when they got to that final third.
Steelers are getting the 1 seed man. Check out their remaining schedule.
They're gonna win the AFC. At least I hope they do cause I bet on their preseason odds to win the Super Bowl.
Nice. I actually said the texans were a good choice as a SB sleeper pick. They were somewhere in the middle of the pack to win it all (forget what the odds were).
That pick would have looked decent until today's news.
I think SF would give GB all they could handle in the NFC title game if both teams get there. Love the way the 49ers play

I like how the Niners play too but I'm gonna bet on whoever they host in the their first playoff game. "New" playoff teams, no matter how much they dominate their crappy division, are historically good to bet against. I won $1,000 (the most I ever bet on a single game) when Baltimore eliminated Kansas City last year and I based the bet on that logic.

I hear you, but I think it's all relative. KC was not a good team last year...they were lucky to get in playoffs. Eagles played at Minnesota a few years ago. Chance to bet against Tavaris Jackson in playoffs...yes please.
I think the 9ers will be a tough out in the playoffs. I think they would destroy a team like dallas, who has been there before.

Yeah I think they would beat Dallas too. I'm just saying that sometimes the celebrated "next great team" might be a regular season one-year wonder (last year's Falcons for instance). Not saying the 49ers are...but it's not inconceivable that won't be either.

I think they are solid. Losing schaub and mario williams means they're probably done though
Maybe the eagles can trade them vick . I'd take a 5th round pick to get rid of that contract
