So true. A close friend of mine is a huge Raiders fan and I'd bet $300 bucks that there's a new hole in his wall today...

So I guess McNabb sufferred a concussion this year? He said he was "surprised that Ponder is starting over him". Only logical explanation for that is that he is concussed. He sucks this year, and for that matter was never that good of a qb. Always though he was overhyped.

please. for about a 5 or 6 year span he was a good to very good quarterback in this league. top 5 pretty much every year.

he's clearly done at this point though.

  • Steelers are my team. Grew up in Pittsburgh. Miss being there all the time.

Packers still look great this year. Seems to be the usual suspects will be in the running. Pats, Pack...etc... I am loving the Lions this year. What a great team they have become. Good for Detroit fans!

He clearly had better year/years with TO. Without a top WR he put up average numbers.

i agree with Juggy. McNabb was a good qb for a quite a few years. Maybe it was the system, maybe it's the players around him, but he is washed up now. When your mom can't watch anymore, you know it's time to hang them up.

I have followed the Eagles for a long time, McNabb was always great, has great abilities, but it seemed that when things go a little wrong, he was not able to recover from it and rally the team. You could see from his body language and facial expression the point in a game when it was lost. I think his attitude/mood just pulled everyone down, sucked all the energy out of the team.

amazing. with a top wideout he put up great numbers :o:lol: .....

even before TO, he was a top 5 qb and won a shit ton of games with absolute garbage to throw to (go back and look at the names of the eagles receivers prior to '04). obviously he had issues in big games (as did/does the coach and defense) but he was most definitely a good quarterback in his prime who rarely turned the ball over, which is what you need to win in this league.

The SUCK FOR LUCK battle is heating up!

    Indianapolis - 0 - 7 ... Peyton won't be there forever
Miami - 0 - 6 ... had a scare today but tanked it just in time.
St. Louis - 0 - 6 ... don't need a QB but they would be a trade target for many teams looking to grab Luck
    Minnesota - 1 - 6 ... I know Vikings fans, they should be 5 - 2, right? :?

    Place your bets!

you would think st. louis could find a way to win a game or two with bradford and jackson

miami i'm not so sure about. tough division and no qb or running game to speak of and it's only a matter of time before the players completly quit on the coach..who is going to be canned

indy..peope are going to be looking for payback. can't believe they suck as bad as they do.

Vikings still have AP, so they have a shot

    right now...i'd go with Miami

Yeah, what's the tie breaker on something like that. Is it opponents winning percentage, points differential, or do they just do a coin flip?

From about.com ... so, take it for what it's worth, but, I'm pretty sure this is right.

    Tiebreakers

    • Strength of schedule for the previous season is the first tie-breaker for teams with the same winning percentage. The team with the lowest strength of schedule percentage wins the tiebreaker and picks ahead of all other teams with the same record.

    • Divisional and conference records are the next step in the tie-breaking procedure.

    • As a last resort, a coin toss is used to determine the order of selection for teams with the same winning percentage.

What's funny is that they can't beleive it ... I flipped over about three or four times late in the game to see when the Saints would pull Brees ... and each time I went over, they were showing Reggie Wayne on the bench looking like someone just kicked his puppy. :(

What an embarrassing performance last night. It almost seemed like the Saints were trying not to score too high and just run the clock, but the Colts made it way too easy for them to score. Insane how much ONE injury is affecting that team...
