    Good episode tonight.

Who was the guy that called Harrow at the end, who killed the other guy?
I'm guessing he must be looking for revenge from one of Harrows other victims???
the previews for next week suggest that that guy that called harrow is the guy who hired him to kill the man that he ended up letting go.

harrow is getting soft on us.

it is about time. the guy has been through enough. he has killed a ton of people and has lost pretty much everything he ever wanted. jimmy's wife, jimmy, his home at jimmy's mom's place, the kid, and the woman from last season, and now his dog, and he might be losing emma's home as well. all of that is wearing on him, and i am thinking he might feel kind of defeated and wanting just a normal, quiet life.

it was nice to see harrow showing some kind of human emotion.

Is he not still with the GF from last season? She is after all trying to win custody of Jimmys son.

"Dr' Narcisse is turning out to be be a bad guy already rivaling Gyp Rosetti.
He totally used the woman yto infiltrate Nucky/Chalkys empire,
and now he's got 1 foot in the door.

Was waiting for them to ask him what he was a "doctor" of,..

just watched the lastest episode, thought i'd may as well since I can't get back to sleep. probably not the greatest idea to distract myself from reality and nightmares in the middle of the night..

Harrow deciding not to be a killer anymore by letting the older man go is gonna bring the guy that hired him gunning for him...it'll be interesting to see how that plays out. just as long as they don't kill his character off

notice how intimated Van Alden gets when he's confronted by Capone?

apparently they're gonna show the beginnings of the fbi...now that they've introduced j edger hoover wonder if there'll be any cross-dressing scenes this season? any bets on which episode will contain the first one? :lolno:

i'm gonna guess that Dr Narcisse is a doctor of theology or divinity

^^^^^did he win best Homicidial Douchebag Freak in a drama series? (not to imply that he wasn't great in the role)

so Dr Narcisse is teaming up with Dunn to take control of the jazz club by somehow getting Chalky involved with heroin

Harrow's sister Emma sure didn't hesitate to off man the (and his henchman) that came after him for not finishing off the murders he paid him for. hmmm...any guesses where the train's gonna take Harrow next?

how will Eli's son take out the frat bully? pretty sure it'll happen at some point

Sally seems cool so far....i like how casual and straightforward she is

it'll be interesing to see how the Florida land deal Nucky's investing in will play out now that his go-between friend had to kill the hillbilly boss

eli's son and his nerdy friend were they just trying to embarrass the frat bully? wonder if the final result was unintentional or did they mean for it to kill him?

that was crazy when capone grabbed his tommy gun and unloaded on that man that was in back of the bread truck....and the look of Van Alden's face

ut oh eddie...looks like he let his 'new position' go to his head

personally I really dig that they're talking about and showing the knife and fork. I had no idea that back in the 20's it was a gentlemen's club, :wtf: that also served food before it was a public restaurant. in the late 40's and in the 50's my mom was a waitress there. tho it's not where they met she worked there when she and my dad met. she used to tell me about some of the famous peeps she waited on there. damn, wish I could ask her about Nucky.

holy sweet cheesus...so glad I found out it wasn't still a cathouse when she worked there :lol:

i wonder what is gonna happen with nucky's driver and the capones. i think his loyalty to both of them is going to be questioned and he is eventually going to come to a bad end...

dr narcisse is quickly becoming one of my favorite characters.

    no harrow this week.

    still no margaret..

van alden has made the complete transformation from upstanding, righteous law man to criminal. prime example of you have to do what you have to do to survive.

    all good points listed here.
    i would add:

    -i'm still trying to decipher which character I dislike more;
dr narcisse or dunn purnsley himself.
don't fuck with chalky white !
( whos infatuated with that singer girl daughter)

-what the fuck is up with Arnold Rothstein? Nervous breakdown much?
Who knew Myer Lansky had it in his little diminutive self?

    -had to laugh at Capone
doing the bumps in the car and trying to feed it to Van Alden.

glad they signed for another season.

capone is by far the best character in the show. seeing him walking toward the camera shooting off his tommy gun with that big smile on his face was priceless.

Really enjoying this season so far.

I had a feeling Eli's son was going to poison his school mate.

Van Alden out with the Capone Bros was funny.

    what a bummer episode

i'd guessed from when they showed Nucky and his nephew talking to the investagators about poisoning the frat bully that they'd end up throwing the nerdy kid under the bus

that they featured van alden so prominently in the scence where frank capone was killed....i wasn't expecting to see that

tho I pretty much knew it was going to end that way the second eddie gave nucky up... eddie seemed so loyal and likeable ...it's still sad :(

yeah I saw those concrete pylons. it made the scene confusing to me...not sure if boardwalks had that sort of pylons back in the 20's?

That was a top three most depressing episode for me. Poor Eddie. A loyal soldier and flawed but good man. Hated to see him off himself but saw it coming as soon as the feds picked him up. Like another said, now that his brother is gone, you see the last remaining bit of humanity fading from Al. Van Alden is screwed. Gillian, oh Gillian. And Nucky's nephew gets away with murder and Millhouse gets framed.

Really liking this season so far. The only thing that sucks is certain weeks they just skip over entire storylines....there was nothing at all with Chalky or Dr Narcisse this past week.

They are where many of will be in 9 days-- in Brooklyn.

They space out the storylines, too many characters to cover week to week.

This weeeks episode was directed by Van Patten . His episodes are usually very good ones.

i want to see more of Patricia Arquette..
also, these last couple of episodes make me wonder why we ever needed Gyp Rosseti when we've had Al Capone all along..

there's only so much dramatic license they can take with al capone or any of the 'real' historical characters.

imo, they did a hellava job portraying how frank capone was killed. altho undoubtedly the way they worked van alden's character into the story of what really happened made it even more impressive
