This is one hell of a game. Loving the playoff.

Wish it didn't start so late, though. Gonna end way past midnight. Thank God I don't have to work tomorrow

I agree 100%. There's no reason these games need to be so late on weeknights. The damn game started at 8:30 and it was past 11 by the time the third quarter started. I sound like a grumpy old man, but damn.

Same thing with baseball's playoffs and World Series' games. Kids are asleep for all the great moments.

    move west, you whiny bastards.

I picked a bad day to try to give up drinking.

Welp, down goes a bottle of merlot that was opened at halftime (which was at 11:00pm)

    Merry Christmas, Rob

    You too, Jeff!

    I'll quit drinking tomorrow.

    Jeff is my brother. Congrats

  • Wow what games yesterday...agree on the late night thing, I was fucking destroyed drunk by the end of the OSU win. I was shocked at how that game went, much respect to OSU for plowing them. The QB for Bama made some huge errors.
    Oregon game went as expected.
I think Oregon smashes OSU but after the way they played last night anything can happen. Really looking forward to the final game, I love the Final Four CFP!

if you check the record, i said all along FSU should not have been in this thing. look it up....I said it.

not sure who should have gone between TCU or Baylor. Doesn't really matter now. Bama at #1 and OSU at #4 SEEMED like the right seeding.

Yes, I can certainly recall you said that!
I still hold that FSU had to be included or the whole thing was a travishamockery. Just because they were pounded doesn't mean they should not have been there.

Oregon starts as a TD favorite.

    factoids:

"The Buckeyes had eight runs inside the tackles that gained 10 yards or more, one more than Alabama had allowed TOTAL in a game this season.

Ezekiel Elliott's 85-yard TD run is the longest rushing play Alabama has ever allowed under Nick Saban.

The SEC West was 28-0 against non-conference opponents in the regular season. However, the division finished 2-5 in bowl games, including losing all 4 matchups against ranked opponents."

maybe because they weren't playing samford.

:)) with an assist from the King Jerry Lawler.

The UCLA/Kansas St. game was very entertaining especially towards the end. That onside kick was pretty awesome, too bad it didn't work though.
