    Definitely.

And Griffey to me is probably the best overall CF to play the game behind Mays.

I'd put Griffey fourth, behind Mays, Joe DiMaggio, and Mickey Mantle. Like many people who played in Mantle's day, they've all said if he had two good legs, he would've been better than Babe Ruth. No one has been able to break DiMaggio's record of 56 consecutive games with a hit. That is probably one record that won't ever be broken.

They had a few 90+ win seasons where they missed the playoffs so I guess it is possible they won the most games, especially with 100+ wins in '80 but the fact remains they missed the playoffs for 13 years in a row. I was not aware they won the most games but that has to be some sort of trivia question if true.

So that erases all the previous times when he has CHOKED in the playoffs. Not to mention the cheating/roid issue? Really? Pay-Roid is someone to look up to and care about? I don't get it.

Of course he'll always be hated in Seattle. But, since he has left he has given so many more reasons to not be an A-Rod fan.

I was born in 1991 and my first memory is watching the 96 season. I've heard about the 80s teams. It's a shame they did nothing Donnie and Dave "Mr. May" Winfield. No support for them. At least they got a no hitter against the Red Sox in 83 and the Pine Tar game in 83 also.
