Looking forward to Battlefront. Got the kids the Star Wars Infinity game...it's pretty bad ass.
Me too. I have never signed up for the online playstation component, but Battlefront may finally motivate me to do so

Still working on Witcher 3. Trying to complete it all before Fallout comes out next month. I think I will make it.
Definitely a top 5 all time video game. Certainly not for everyone as it takes a lot of patience, time investment, focus on the story, learning curve, etc... but it is a masterpiece
Played the Battlefront demo, was as I initially expected. Felt a lot like playing Battlefield. Game is by nature going to be very repetitive. Gameplay, graphics and audio are top notch at any rate, but I'll be passing.

I felt the same way, but it was nice to be playing Star Wars and the graphics were amazing. Got me fired up for the movie
Anybody have last years madden collecting dust for Xbox one and want to sell for a couple bucks?
I don't, but if you don't mind playing sports games 6-9 months after they come out. EAaccess is incredible. It's 30 bucks for the entire year and you can download full versions of games in their "vault". Their entire sports lineup as well as battlefield, titanfall, dragon age are in there. I believe others as well. They say they won't remove any games. As long as you have the subscription, you have the games. I think it's a hell of a deal. I've got about 8 of them downloaded I believe. Check it out.
Ya, I've looked at that but already have dragon age and FIFA, so it really doesn't make too much sense for me. If I didn't have those I'd be all over it

game seems to be getting good reviews. Some mixed.
A lot of reviewers seem to hate that it is so similar to Fallout 3 (which IMO is no bad thing at all)... and also hate the "Bugs" (something I expect with a game like this and realize they patch most of it out and I can deal with it.)

They couldn't call it "Fallout" if it didn't have tons of bugs! hahaha The bugs in New Vegas made me want to never play another Fallout game again...that said... I'm gonna pick it up in an hour or so.
IMO Vegas was a bit over the top and rushed. There were many 'lazy' things that were in Vegas that werent in 3(DC).... such as invisible walls. It also felt like everything in the story and side missions didn't fit together as neatly as 3.
wow, Amazon seems to have botched my pre-order. This has never happened... wont get it until tomorrow. Probably going to see if its local and buy that and send the Amazon back.

That made me go check on Amazon to see what the status was ... and the goddamn credit card I used to pre-order back in June expired last month!!!
I got the season pass for ps4 and so far the game itself is fucking awesome. The reversal is hard as hell though. I haven't done the showcase but a cousin of mine has wwe2k16 for ps3 and says it's awesome. Right now I'm doing a "My Career" with CAW AJ Styles.
Ron: I just don't feel like going out tonight
Sammi: Wanna just break up?
I played about 2 hours of Fallout yesterday. I haven't explored much yet, just have gone mostly through the early main story. My initial impression (without spoilers) of the first 2 or so hours....
It seems the story starts off fast. The lead-in vault story was fine but once you're "free", it seems like I have more guns, ammo, gear in the first 2 hours than I did in the first 10 of Fallout3 or Vegas. Maybe things will change, but I really enjoyed the grind/survival aspect of the early games in the past. This...so far...seems a little rushed....but again...it's early. Also, in the past that survival made you really pay attention to your guns, equipment, and meds. I haven't even come close to dying yet...maybe used 2 stimpaks and nothing else.
Still have no idea what I'm doing in the crafting aspect of the game. I've upgraded a gun or two easily, but have zero idea what i'm doing in the "building" aspect. If anyone gets to that point and knows what their doing or has tips, let me know! hahaha!

That is disappointing that good gear is there for you early. The feeling of being a tiny fish in a monster pond was a huge part of the 'experience'
I played for an hour and a half. My impressions:
I loved the SPECIAL videos while you waited for it to install. I was actually cursing the game for installing too quickly when I had just finished the "C" video.
I do not like how you cannot set a difficulty. It is a scale you can change throughout the game apparently. These games I try to play at the hardest difficulty and the fun of it is getting stuck and having to try dozens of times if you get stuck with different strategies and such. Not as fun/intense if you can just throttle the difficulty down.
I liked Fallout 3's methods of determining your SPECIAL startup with the in game tests at school and such. Would like that or at least some sort of randomizer. I should have rolled a dice or something.
I wish you could spend a little more time in 2077. Maybe go to the barber to get your hairstyle and beard when creating your guy... see some locals, maybe everyone is chatting about the conflict with China or its on the radio there. Maybe a simple fetch type mission in the town where you see the surroundings closely before and then visit later 200 years after the war. Heck, why not have you drive one of them Hydrogen powered cars heading to the vault?
The physics and controls are very difficult with Witcher 3 rooted so deeply right now.
Graphics are vibrant and beautiful. I have just encountered rad roaches, but they look so good it is like a cut-scene in most games.
I don't really like how your guy has a voice and his little comments and such. I think having a silent first person character added to the immersion. Not a big deal though.
Got out of the vault. World looks great. Had my first glitch though, I was walking down the path and then magically teleported to Sanctuary.
So we will see how it goes now. Got to Sanctuary and had to go to bed. I hope to get some time in tonight.
I also found out that you can store all of your items at the workbench and it'll always be there when you come back....or find another workbench and viola...your gear. So, collecting junk is going to be super important. Not really a huge fan of that, as I always liked going through items found, picking out the good things and leaving the crap behind due to the weight-load. Now, you pick up everything...can fast travel back to your bench and dump off the supplies. Seems cheap and takes the realism of weight burden away.
So, I"m also level 5 maybe...and I'm walking around in Power Gear (i think that's what it's called). Wasn't that something where you had to have the strength level waaaay up before you could even put it on in the past? Also, I read, if you drop your power gear, it'll be wherever you left it no matter what. Soooo...I'm going to strip off the gear...head out to explore and if something difficult comes up...just gonna go back and suit up. Also seems cheap.
I just realized that I haven't even touched the Halo 5 single player campaign yet... put in about 13 hours in multiplayer so far (of actual game time, nevermind exploring the menus and altering my character and weapons).
