Actually the post should have been titled:

Human Beings Crying Over The Loss of Oxygen and Nature.

I love nature... am all about preserving the natural environment... BUT those wankers need to a swift kick to their genitalia.

And your violent reaction to these people is based on what?

    Great post.
I too love nature and believe we should do all we can to preserve it but these tossers make me want to destroy a tree just to spite them.

i'm gonna say you don't really love nature ... you think it's cool to kick people in the genitalia for doing something they believe in and that has absolutely no bearing to you and to top it off - you want to hurt them deeply just out of spite?? ... that is what i call pathetic ...

i know i'm probably taking this too seriously but this to me is laughing at someone with downs or something ...

some people act like that at the mention of the word "tax" ...

Your right it has no impact on me. I just find it to be a bit odd.

How does this not have impact on you?

    Do you breath air?

1st Grade Lesson: TREES MAKE AIR

Earth First is fiercely defending disappearing forests everywhere. They don't sit around and cry. The video shows nothing about what happend to make these people feel such hopelessness.

    Where is the whole video?

Many humans are moving so fast that they are becoming more intolerant to emotions and grief. Do people look odd crying at a funeral? Is the death of the planet from humans not something to be enraged about?

Earth First is out there fighting their asses off so you can fill your lungs with invisable empathy.

doesn't matter at all to me... they are certainly free to express themselves however they want. I just think the way they have chosen to do so is pathetic beyond fucking measure. Grow a set and make yourself heard! Shit man life is too short and these causes are too important to sit around crying about it.

this is a post below that video. It is exactly what I was thinking:

"I wonder how many people watching this video, laughing at these people's emotional outbursts over trees believe in a magical man who can reward them with eternal life who actively monitors their day to day life.
Look in the mirror. Crazy is crazy, no matter how you spin it. "

I'm also wondering who's crying for the blades of grass that these people are so calously crushing with their dirty bums as they sit and cry and hard shoes as they walk on by?

    Grass?

    + 1 dear soul

if you have ever witnessed the tree cutting guys and how they drop a tree and whoot and hollar and applaud,
    it can make you cry.
watching the death of a tree that has stood for over a century enjoying life and each season
then seeing the empty space that the birds fly through
    it can break your heart
this is why I live in the woods

    I adore you Pandora.

No, I'm not. Why? Did you incorrectly interpret my statement to mean that all activism is pathetic? That is certainly not what I said or connotated and if you interpreted it that way I apologize... Crying over trees is incredibly trite and hypocritical. Someone earlier mentioned that they are sitting on grass and killing at least a few plants. Why aren't they crying over that? Because that species has a shorter life span? Because it isn't as beautiful? Give me a break.

And my statement about "kicking them in the genitalia" wasn't literal, of course, and that should be obvious. It was meant in a symbolic manner that they are overly emotional and need to grow a pair and make a real difference somehow. Yes, I found out that they are part of a group that does indeed do some wild things (that I think are cool) but we are talking about this individual act of weeping over vegetation.

Finally, I think this is just an ego-inflating gimmick these people are performing. "Look at me... I care so deeply about trees that I CRY about them... I'm so sensitive and I know how to make the place better." They are jerking off their egos onto the collective face of humanity by putting this up on YouTube.

We agree on one thing; that trees are important and the environment shouldn't be tampered with.

We disagree on another thing; that these people have a trite message that makes my stomach hurt because it is so embarassing and pathetic.
Everything not forbidden is compulsory and eveything not compulsory is forbidden. You are free... free to do what the government says you can do.

    who said it?
    love it.

don't watch you tube at work, but well, trees are important no? :|
if someone wants to cry over em, more power to em. hurts no one.
just don't take bereavement leave over your pet, or dunk will hunt you down.

    this is true.

i'm in the "i find this pathetic" club on this thread topic... whilst it does indeed not hurt anyone as people have said.. it does make me feel more embarrassed than watching a 1992 video of PJ on youtube where Jeff is wearing 4 pairs of shorts and a really stupid hat.
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

    Hey, let's go camping!!

    deforestation-tree-removal.jpg

I see trees of green, red roses too
I see them bloom for me and you
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world

I see skies of blue and clouds of white
The bright blessed day, the dark sacred night
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world

The colours of the rainbow, so pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces of people going by
I see friends shakin' hands, sayin' "How do you do?"
They're really saying "I love you"

I hear babies cryin', I watch them grow
They'll learn much more than I'll ever know
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world
Yes, I think to myself, what a wonderful world

Maybe we should go back to spiking trees and guerrilla tactics. Wait, that just got us labeled as environmental terrorists. It's a no win situation and the people who should care, plain and simply don't. All you people saying you support the environment but find this pathetic. Just what the fuck do you actually do? I bet it is a whole lot of sitting around making fun of those who are actually attempting to help your short-sighted asses.

yes, that other living being that they trampled on to get to the tree they are crying about. I totally get the message they are trying to send, I just meant "where does it end?". Honestly, I can identify with these people more than I can with religious fundamentalists/extremists, as these people worship something they can see and touch, and the "blade of grass" comment was more in jest than anything, but I think it's a decent point. Do none of these people drive a car that slowly kill vegetation from the pollution? What about heating their homes? What about the processing of the food they eat? Do they not use paper? Pencils?
