  • Best crowd I've ever seen. I am up at close to 40 shows and this may be the best one I've been to. The pause during Better Man when the crowd just erupted for what seemed like forever was a real highlight. Sweet Lew, cmonnnnn... In the Willis Reed jersey. Awesome. I can't say enough about the crowd though. We were in Section 2 Row T and had a perfect view for everything. Ed was holding long notes... They knew this was going to be a great one. Hunger Strike with Ben from BOH... So happy the late comers got to hear him... BOH will shortly be filling bigger venues on their own. If you missed them, shame on you. Back to PJ though... NO EVEN FLOW!!! And it just gets better... Definitely a conscious omission by the band. This was such a great show... Push Me Pull Me played for like the 7th time??? Come onnnn now! This is a best show ever nominee lol

Mary Kate and Ashley, Mark Sanchez, John McEnroe and Michael Moore all rocking on the right wing also...

Wish there was a MSG III to get ready for tomorrow... :-(

I've been a member of the 10C since 1994. That was truly an incredible show. One of the best shows I've ever seen them perform. Last night was very good but this blew that away.

The version of Black was unbelievable. And did anyone else think it looked like Ed wiped away tears, overwhelmed by the crowd response during Betterman? He certainly had to compose himself.

This show had everything. Major rarities, incredible performances of standards, an amazing crowd, an equally amazing vibe. Just tremendous.

The best show I saw on the tour. I saw all the CA shows last October and the 4th LA show was great too but it's hard to compare a show being played at Universal to the Garden. The Garden is a magical place that brings out the best in all performers and you certainly will never get a crowd like that in LA (I live in LA so this isn't bias, it's just fact).

Also bearing witness that this was among the great shows ever. Yes motherfucking epic! And yes holy fucking shit is right!

It was relentless energy. The crowd was so dense and animated the whle way through! Better than the philly crowds from october (I was at night 1 and 4). EVERYONE was UP! It was how it should be. Unleashed!

The band. On fire! FiRE!!!! Stoneks soloing was amazing tonight. Matt cameron amazing, the drum solo break in rvm was great, I can't say enough about. How good every version was.

Your minds will be BLOWN by the SLOW lukin! You will revel in the insane ending of black. You will rejoice during one of the loudest crowds ever during given to fly, and maybe the loudest moment during a beautiful break in betterman. HUNGERSTRIKE was BEZERK!!!!!!

Too many highlights! Nonstop! I could write a book about this show-hence it is epic!

Amazing show... as good as MSG 2 in 98 - that good.

Hunger Strike was the highlight for me... the dude from Band of Horses nailed the Cornell parts. Absolutely amazing version.

Oh my fucking god. Unbelievable. I can't believe I got Black (never heard it live before) and HUNGER STRIKE!! I would kill to get a recording of the entire show. Any chance of a DVD? I guess I didn't see any recording devices so I'm thinking no but a girl can hope. That would make my year!! Can't wait till the boot. YEAH!!

    AGREE it blew it away.

AGREE it really looked like Ed wiped his tear or water filled eye away while looking out at the crowd at that time... saw exactly what you did...

AGREE this crowd blew away LA 1-4 in 09 - FACT(and Univeral Amph is not conducive to loud crowds also to begin with). I was also at all 4 LA shows and came in from LA for this, and have to say the NY crowd tonight was just insane... all the way through... start to finish....

Mind is still boggled from what it saw tonight... This really was one of the best ever.... anyone not want their ticket stub? lol Anyone get an extra poster?

Tonight was completely and totally OFF THE FUCKIN' HOOK!!! Easily one of the best shows ever - EVER! The boys ripped through this gem of a setlist like there was no tomorrow...and ripped MSG a new asshole and everyone lucky enough to be in the building. Tonight was truly a very special gift. Holy Crap - BREATH, HUNGERSTRIKE, BYR, Nothingman, Sweet Lew, Lukin II (another way to skin the cat!), Betterman was one for the ages. Hears to the best band on the planet...Cheers boys and thank you!

I've never seen anything like what I was fortunate enough to witness tonight. The band transcended anything I could have EVER imagined them doing, and there was a true symbiotic relationship between the fans and the band, in terms of the way they were feeding off each other's energy. I'm speechless, and all at the same time all I want to do is talk about it, and hang onto this feeling for the rest of my life. Pure, 100% ecstasy.
