OK....I'm back working at the golf course. I have a pension, so I'm not too pissed about the $7/hr wage . I also get free, unlimited golf at any county course. Here's "my" course. click on any hole for the aerial....

then, you pull up the fungus infested grass (that's a good plug in the picture)...
then, you lovingly replace the bad with the good...
I knock out about 7 per hour ($1 per pug ). my boss thinks this will cure the problem....who knows? I'm not paid to think. both holes with the worst problems are right on a pond :?

Ha, similar round here. Started out 7, 7 and ended up with one of the better rounds I have shot. My driver is a mess. Everything else is better than it has ever been.
On Thursday I played my first round since October and shot 87 (albeit from the white tees). I was pretty happy with that considering I took 6 months off. I'm heading out again today hoping to improve/knock some more rust off.
I wish I was as fortunate, as fortunate as me.

Playing in a 4 man (3 men and a lady) scramble tomorrow as a fund raiser for the school where I teach. The I'm probably far and away the best player as an 11 handicap (more realistically a 13-15 over the last year) so the team isn't great and likely won't win anything, but we're going to have a great time. I'm just glad that May is here and rates have dropped down here once again. The course we're playing, River Hall, is quite nice. It's a Davis Love III design and doesn't get a ton of play so the conditions should be great.
I wish I was as fortunate, as fortunate as me.
