The rough looks insane,  I would be lucky to advance 40 yards.

He will compete at the Masters for a few more years.   I think it is amazing he can still play well today but he can’t compete with the young guns anymore.  He may show up every once in a while for a few days but I think the success of Zoso is probably it for a while.

From these tees in these conditions, there is a 0% chance I would crack 200

LOL.  Just texted the same thing to my buddy.....the rough, the wind and greens like cement.  I bet Reed to win at 33 to 1 so hopefully that asshole keeps it up.  Also have a small bet on Wolff at 80 to 1...

We wouldn’t even reach the fairway and would be in some thick ass rough. 200 would be hard to break. Once we get on the green, wed putt off it

that’s a good bet. I’ll cheer for him over Bryson considering this bet. Can’t stand either. Would like JT to win but then I lose a season long bet most likely

This has been a lot of fun to watch so far. I've got a big stretch of tournaments myself starting next weekend.

Happy to see Reed fire a 43 on the back
  • Playing four great courses next week and thought it would be good to get a lesson on the driver yesterday.  Stupid me.  Jacked me up.  Should have waited until after this week.

Good luck. That’s nice. I’m cheering for him by a mile. 2 bizarre swings to duel it out. It’s a two horse race or does someone shoot par and they both go high?

Someone should have told reed you can’t wear white pants after Labor Day
  • bbiggsbbiggs Posts: 6,952
Can’t believe I’m saying this but I have the US Open on over the Bears game right now. This is incredible golf.

    This is very good golf
  • Looks like Bryson’s offseason bulk up is validated.  Been competitive in just about every appearance and is going to win on a course that requires driving accuracy.
  • Cliffy6745Cliffy6745 Posts: 33,875
    Yep, game over
  • bbiggsbbiggs Posts: 6,952
it’s amazing how well he’s driven the ball with that violent swing. Highly accurate and stupid long. Keep it going as long as his body holds up I guess

Now Bryson. And my wife and I are arguing about this. She is saying this is now somehow acceptable. The today show told her haha
  • Cliffy6745Cliffy6745 Posts: 33,875
Thing is, he wasn’t terribly accurate. I think he hit less than 50% of fairways. I think it’s the strength of him being able to advance it out of the rough more than anyone else

Wolff is a great golfer but man his swing is a hard to watch. That little hitch in his right leg before he swings drives me nuts

Yeah it's beautiful up there. Only an hour and a half from my home/family in Fayetteville, AR. I'm in Jacksonville, FL now but I'm already wanting to get a golf trip planned with my friends back home!
