    What a night, huh?
Pearl Jam's 27th time playing to a Boston crowd.
My 9th show, the 5th with my son beside me.

We both agreed Pearl Jam shows just get better and better every time we see them.
Great choice of set list. Some real surprises! Crown of Thorns and Rival, are you kidding me????
The band was really tight and seemed to have as much fun as we did. Great exchange of energy in that room. You could feel it. I couldn't have asked for more.
    Thanks Pearl Jam!!

    Other fun moments;
.....seeing my son's face when he spotted Tedy Bruschi walking right past us.
.....spotting Stone grab a quick seat at the end of the 4th row, his side, holding a cute little girl with pink headphones during Band of Horses (did anyone else catch a glimpse of this?????)
.....seeing that fucking dancing cow again (damn, he cracks me up)
.....watching Eddie hand a tambourine to a little whited-haired lady right in front of us and motioning to her that he liked her Sleater-Kinney t-shirt (you rock, grandma!)

My 9th show and it was truly amazing. Came down from Maine on Sunday and everything over the course of the two days fell right into place. No problems with traffic, picked up my sister at Logan Monday afternoon with no problem at all, timed getting a parking spot perfectly (meter!--$4 total!), walking into Boston Beerworks and getting a table right away despite the place being packed. It was really meant to be.

10 club seats were great! Floor section E, row 21, seats 1 & 2. First time on the floor and my short sister was able to step into the aisle for an unobstructed view. Headed into the venue around 8pm thinking the poster would be gone and the first merchandise stand had about 5-6 left. Ended up targeting other 10clubbers in line who were there just for the poster and worked it so four of us came away with a poster. None of this greedy buy two posters bullshit It was a little stressful though because because the booth workers had been risen from the dead to putter around and sell merchandise. They were so slow, like needed a walker to get around slow, but it all worked out! Grabbed a beer and sat down, place my beer on the floor and as I talked to my sister head a "plunk." I have no idea where it came from, but someone actually sunk a quarter into my cup, while it was on the floor with only one seat separating me from the person beside me mind you. Great skill on their part and I pocketed the quarter and drank the beer anyway (figured I played enough quarters in college so having a dirty coin in my beer wasn't exactly abnormal).

I won't dissect the whole show because I am sure others have already, but it was amazing. The Fixer, Force of Nature, Got Some, Just Breathe, Unthought Known, Crown of Thorns, Soldier of Love, Rival, Pilate, Push me, Pull me, Bee Girl, and Undone were all first timers for me. The energy was out of control and the short little acoustic section of Bee Girl, Just Breathe is an indication of how rocking the place was. They band was clearly feeding off the energy and weren't going to mess around with an extended acoustic set (though I would have liked to hear Masters of War). Everyone in my section was on cloud nine, singing, and having a great time. Even Teddy Bruschi, who was about 5-6 rows behind me, was singing and jamming just like everyone else. Amazing. I feel spoiled, but it was my first time seeing them since Mansfield I 2008 (missed all four philly shows due to an intense school program) and was my only show this tour, so it really couldn't have gone any better.

I took my brother to Hartford 08, and my sister to Boston 5/17, so I am thinking that I might have to take my siblings to more shows! Also am going to have to hold onto that quarter for a good luck charm. :D:D

Easily the smoothest and greatest concert experience of my life, and I have seen tons of shows from a wide variety of bands. The boys were really on top of their game and I hope everyone in Newark and MSG get treated to something special as well. Very surreal! :D Thanks for everything you do 10club and Pearl Jam! Two thumbs up!

I LOVE the beginnning of Animal (and the rest of it too). You got a GREAT angle of that....a worthy look indeed for all reading this!

I was at the Hartford show and thought that was truly amazing. The Boston setlist was so great I'm jealous I missed it. I can only hope the the Newark show tonight is just as good if not better. Of course I'll be jealous of the fans at MSG since I'm not able to make it to either night. Love this band, love these fans!

PS...the last time PJ played the garden, Theo was in disguise the whole show (Sat Stones side that time) and did get up and play RITFW with them .

Very true. Back when the 10club provided a few pictures with the show downloads they actually included one with Theo on stage, whig and all. Good stuff.

Thank You, would of had more had I brought spare battery. And yes these seats were amazing. Thought we would be second section on the floor and was stunned by our seats. We were on the aisle Loge 21 and could see everything.

Haha same here. I got home from the show at 1am and decided to be a hero and go to work today. I was awake at 5am and was just in a haze all day. Checked the goods section just in case there was a pre-order from last nights show.:lol:

I will have to buy 2 of these when they do come out because I will burn a hole in one of them for the amount of times I will play this boot.

Normally I'll buy the boots of shows I've gone to (that'll be 2 shows I've been to) but after seeing this set, like I said, I'll be getting this; so this tour I'm getting Hartford and Boston. I bought LA 3 last year because my cousin was at that show and it had the TOTD reunion. Can't wait to hear these boots!

I posted last night as soon as I got home, and I want to give a few more thoughts:

I thought the BOH song sounded like the Stones, thanks whoever tagged it.

I've been muttering the spoken verses of Push Me, Pull Me all day. "I had a false belief I thought I came here to stay, we're all just visiting."

I was thrilled at the Backspacer songs, I was worried we wouldn't get Unthought Known after I saw it was played at Bristow and Hartford.

I forgot to mention I'm pretty sure I witnessed a girl break down to tears when she realized she won the lottery (or at least got good seats) Not sure why else you'd cry (in a happy way) at the box office.
