They're great live so you can't go wrong with any of their official live stuff, I just think a band is best represented with their studio output.

sometimes yes... but I really think MMJ are so good live that their live output is equal to their studio albums.

I TOTALLY agree with ZOSO!!

I actually prefer MMJ's live shows...in much the same way I now prefer PJ boots to their studio albums!!!

Z came out in 2005. It Still Moves came out in 2003.

Get Okonokos next. It's their live album. It's a pretty good survey of their albums before, and up until, Z.

Thanks- I love that site but havent checked it out recently. I usually am not a fan of audience recordings (besides NYC Taper ), but I will give these a try

They had you create an account and everything to download the Red Rocks shows...so, I can't imagine MMJ would start that whole "OFFICIAL BOOTLEG" site without plans on releasing MANY more shows!!!
I've gotta have a recording of the 20 minute STEAM ENGINE encore they did here in Columbus!! :ugeek:

At Dawn night was top 5 shows Ive ever seen. Cobra was not the shortened version- it was the full 20+ minute one .

I'm the same way - PJ's official boots have turned me into a boot snob. I need more MMJ boots as well. Red Rocks has been on a constant repeat for about 3 weeks now
